Meet Fenrir - the marsh dweller

Meet Fenrir - the marsh dweller

Completed 20k kms during recent spiti expedition.

All the small additions and mods came to full use during the 8 day expedition with Curbover.

List of mods:-

Race concepts 130hp package

Kyb jaos+ cobra springs

Highbridge model front bumper with Hella M90s

Full Snorkel

Brembo kit

Running on apterras 225s

Now the focus is on having damping done with a good speaker upgrade.Seats also require some alterations as i felt the support is less for long drives. Overall happy with the build. Getting an itch for a set of good alloys and 235s as well for the perfect stance. May be will park as this year budget is exhausted.

Any suggestions welcome.

Did i receive a fake from official Asics?

Ordered novoblast 5 from flipkart during sale. Seller was official Asics.

Few observations

The pattern at back is not symmetric

Have visible glue marks

Label says made in Indonesia and have some font mismatches.

What do you guys think? Can a fake come from official ASICS? This is my first Asics shoe and ran 5k on 1st day. Comfort was top notch though.

88kg -> 83kg | 5'11 | 37M | 8 Months Lifting Transformation

Hit a point past age 35 where I realized looking good in the mirror isn't enough—you need to look good in your blood reports too. I was completely frustrated with the dad bod and decided to commit to hard consistency.

It took almost 4 solid months of consistent tracking before I started seeing any visible progress. It required a lot of patience to push through the boring middle before the results finally started showing.Overall, I'm feeling fantastic, but the absolute most satisfying part of these 8 months? Seeing my progress inspire my two young boys. They have actively started putting their own effort into running and working out alongside me.

Happy to answer any questions and i realize there is a long way to go and im sharing details below.

1. Diet & Nutrition

Total Daily Calories: ~2,400 kcal

Daily Protein Intake: ~140g - 150g

Everyday Meal Plan:

Breakfast / First Meal: Eggs/Omelette with whole wheat toast or oats, paired with black coffee. I also home prepared oats+ cashew/almond mix paired with banana and milk. Most supplements i take in morning after bfast.

Lunch: Standard home-cooked meal consisting of rice or rotis, a generous serving of chicken(150gms+) or fish, and a side of vegetables.

Dinner: Roti + paneer or chicken.Heavy meat lover. I have recently scaled back on red meat consumption, but frequently include traditional options like mutton liver fry.

Snacks & Lifestyle: I didn't want to completely compromise on my lifestyle for this transformation, so I still enjoy a brewed beer or a neat single malt on occasion. I just made sure my training volume outweighed the indulgence. I also incorporate a 20-hour fast once a week, which gives me incredible mental clarity and fits my comfort perfectly.

Supplements:

30g Whey Isolate ( tried OWN and My protein)

5g Creatine Monohydrate (Creapure)

Zincovit (Multivitamin)

Swiss Fish Oil tablets

Magnesium glycinate

2. Workout Split

I train using the Hevy app, consistently hitting a high-volume total of 10,000+ kg per weight session. Here is my exact day-wise breakdown:

Day 1: Upper 1 (Power & Push Focus)

Dumbbell Shoulder Press: 4 sets × 8-10 reps

Flat or Decline Dumbbell Bench Press: 4 sets × 8-12 reps

Barbell Bent-Over Rows: 4 sets × 8-10 reps

Machine Lateral Raises: 3 sets × 12-15 reps

Dumbbell Bicep Curls: 3 sets × 10-12 reps

Day 2: Lower 1 (Quad & Posterior Power)

Barbell Back Squats: 4 sets × 6-8 reps

Barbell Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs): 4 sets × 8-10 reps

Machine Leg Extensions: 3 sets × 12-15 reps

Seated Calf Raises: 4 sets × 12-15 reps

Cable Crunches: 3 sets × 15 reps

Day 3: Conditioning / Active Recovery

Structured 5k-10k outdoor running session + Core/Trunk stability work (Planks & Hanging Leg Raises). Currently running a sub-30 minute 5k to prepare for an upcoming 5k event this October.

Day 4: Upper 2 (Hypertrophy & Pull Focus)

Incline Dumbbell Bench Press: 4 sets × 8-12 reps

V-Grip Seated Cable Rows: 4 sets × 10-12 reps

Lat Pulldowns: 4 sets × 10-12 reps

Triceps Cable Pushdowns: 3 sets × 12-15 reps

Dumbbell Lateral Raises: 3 sets × 12-15 reps

Dumbbell RDLs: 4 sets × 10-12 reps

Seated Leg Curls: 3 sets × 12-15 reps

Seated Calf Raises: 4 sets × 12-15 reps

Weighted Decline Crunches: 3 sets × 12-15 reps

Need suggestion

This is the interior designed by my architect for a small stone cottage that we are building. Somehow i feel its a bit overdone. Please share suggestions on how it can be made a bit more simple but maintain the elegance.

Beach drive at muzhupilangad

Did a weekend trip to muzhupilangad, kerala. I think on sundays no car wash centres are open nearby to have the underbody washed post beach drive. So best time to visit.

I had the wash done at a frnds garage post drive. 😄

Note:- This is drive in beach in kerala where you are legally allowed to take vehicle after paying a nominal fee to the authorities. Just 40rs per ticket.Everyone should give a try and its an awsome experience.
