ASICS GT-2000 13 from Flipkart: Hard sole, hot feet, no inside logo—is this normal or fake?

I recently purchased a pair of ASICS GT-2000 13 shoes from Flipkart. The soles feel very hard, and my feet get quite hot inside the shoes while running. I also noticed there's no ASICS logo on the inside of the upper, which makes me wonder if they're genuine.

Is this normal for the GT-2000, or could these be counterfeit? Has anyone else experienced this?

Shoe Guide!!

I'm a 19-year-old male looking to buy a new pair of running shoes during the Flipkart sale, with a budget of ₹8,000.

I run three times a week:

- 2 km (easy run)

- 5 km (tempo/training run)

- 10–15 km (long run)

My previous shoes were Decathlon Kalenji shoes, but they've worn out.

Please recommend the best running shoes under ₹8,000 that can comfortably handle all three distances. If possible, rank your top picks and explain why.

I've shortlisted

  1. Asics Nossa Tri

  2. Asics Gel Pulse 17

  3. Adidas Supernova Rise 3 M

  4. Asics Dynablast 5

  5. Puma Pro Series

Any suggestions will help . thank you

Garmin is telling me 51 hours of recovery... Is this thing lying to me? 💀

Yesterday i ran 14km easy and my watch slapped me with a 51-hour recovery time.
I feel relatively fine right now, but a little over two days of recovery seems wild. Is the Garmin algorithm actually accurate with this stuff, or is it just being overly dramatic?
For those who have seen numbers like this:
Do you actually wait until it hits 0 to run again?

What are your go-to recovery routines to help drop the timer faster?

Appreciate any insight, thanks!

I have ordered the Nike Pegasus 41 (UK size 9); are these good shoes for runs from 5km to 10km, or should I wait for a good deal on the Nimbus 27 or cumulus 27?

I ordered the Nike Pegasus 41 for Rs 4.8k

Help me pick a daily shoe 👟

Yo everyone

My current Zudio sneakers look fine but they have my feet absolutely cooked and in pain if I walk for too long. I need a serious upgrade.

What I need them for:

Light running, daily office use, and long walks.

Main priority: Crazy comfort. I want zero foot pain even if I'm standing or walking most of the day.

Needs to be durable and actually worth the money.

Here is my shortlist rn:

  1. Puma Ultimate Ease Walking Shoe

  2. Reebok Energy Runner

  3. Adidas Drogo M

  4. Adidas Pomazor M

  5. Puma Rashride Knit (on Myntra)

  6. Adidas Clear Factor M

Has anyone tried these? Are they a W or an L for long walks?

Also, if you guys have any better suggestions

PS : Planning to buy it on Amazon Prime Sale :)

Colour is too vibrant Noosa tri 16 . Should i return these ?

I bought it for 4100, should have gone for cheery tomato option but after placing these pairs price jumped to 4500 and i thought let's try these color . In real it's even more vibrant than the photos in app. Bought it on flipkart . Planning to return them but the shoes are great . Contemplating over these things . And my budget is 4000 but the prices have gone to 5400 now. Should i return these ?

Got a crazy deal on Vomero 18s but skeptical if they are real

I was looking to buy vomero 18s for running , and every single store that I visited refused to sell them below mrp. I was just about buy them from a physical store , but I saw this listing from TATA CLIQ online. So I decided to purchase it immediatly , how do I know if I got scammed or not?

Looking for practical ways on how to dry shoe!

Hello all,

I’ve recently started running again and don’t want to take a break as rains have started. Looking for tried and tested methods for drying a shoe post a rainy run!

Also, looking for options of shoes which are good for a rainy run.

Currently I only have 1 shoe - Puma nitro 2 which takes forever to dry!
