KSHB - NBC - NBA
Anyone else slightly annoyed that
KSHB has spent the entirety of the Spurs/OKC game showing weather alerts that continue saying, “good news here-no more warnings” “Winds aren’t as high as expected…” This has to be on every other Kansas City station… Seems like they could have put the weather in the small screen and chimed in when necessary rather than talking about it non stop for the better part of 4 hours. Of course, safety first, but surely NBC could fair it on a sister channel or something?

I just wanted to send a massive thank you to everyone who came out to the Merriam Farmers Market yesterday. It was by far my best week ever, and you guys completely cleared me out!
As a local cook and home chef, putting everything into these flavor profiles and seeing the community response is incredible. Our best-selling Spicy Salad Mix and Premium Cilantro absolutely flew off the table, and seeing the Superfood Shakers (the flake fuel!) turn into a massive hit was the absolute icing on the cake.

Trash & Recycling - Current Thoughts on KC Disposal vs WM?
I’m preparing to move to OP soon and need to get my trash/recycling service set up. I found some older posts regarding the KC Disposal vs WM debate and it sounded to me like KCD was a more reliable service but with a cost that keeps getting jacked up each year and WM is your typical large corporate provider that offers low prices with inconsistent service and doesn’t care when they mess up. Does anyone have a different experience than that? Also open to other recommended providers.

Mur-Len Produce stand search
Does anyone know where the big fresh produce tent at the northeast corner of Sante Fe and Mur-len will be this year? Drove by last night and the parking entire area is now soil. Will the family set up somewhere else? I love being able to buy fresh tomatoes (plus other items) from them any day of the week.
