| About a month ago, I bought a Smith machine, a bench, and six weight plates. I’ve been putting everything together here and there whenever I had time, and I finally finished the setup yesterday. The Smith machine comes with two 160 lb weight stacks and a cable system, and the plates add up to around 140 lb total. For what I need right now, this pretty much covers my training. The bench has a leg holder attachment, and I found it used on Amazon. I’ve only used the setup once so far, but honestly it feels pretty good. Not the fanciest setup in the world, but it’s mine, and honestly that makes me way more excited to train every day haha. Happy to answer any questions if anyone’s curious. |

Started as a rough unfinished attic, and he turned it into a clean, cozy usable space. He added flooring, walls, lighting, storage, and even windows. Still a work in progress, but heres before and after
One little lantern completely transformed the space into a magical garden.
I think every maximalist home deserves at least one piece that makes people stop and stare.
Be honest...
Would this end up in your house?
My living room is in p1. As you can see it's still pretty empty right now. I actually like having space, but at the moment it feels a little too bare.i've been trying to slowly decorate and make it feel more chic, and i keep coming back to this coffee table in p2. I like the material and i think the slight sheen could add some warmth and texture since my sofa and floors are simple. My only hesitation is the shape. the room is long and rectangular, so i'm not sure if a round table would look balanced or if it might make the walkway feel awkward. Do you think this table could work with my current setup? i'd appreciate any suggestions.
Case in point: two frogs that appear to be holding my toilet together.
Zero regrets.
What's the most ridiculous thing you've added to your house?

| Dropped by a friend today expecting to just chill and play some games, but walked into his spare room and saw a full home gym setup. He said he just started building it piece by piece instead of paying for a gym membership long term. Makes sense seeing it all together—pretty much a compact gym in a bedroom.Honestly didn’t expect it to feel that complete.Anyone else building their setup slowly like this? What did you start with first? |

I've been looking for small and affordable ways to make my home feel more comfortable and organized without taking on a major renovation project. Sometimes the smallest changes seem to have the biggest impact.
Whether it's adding better lighting, improving storage, rearranging furniture, or finding a useful household item, I'm always interested in ideas that make everyday life easier.
I'm curious to hear what home improvement or organization tip has made the biggest difference for you. It doesn't have to be expensive just something that genuinely improved your home and daily routine.
My husband and I moved into my childhood home after both of my grandparents passed away within the last two years. We started in May 2025 and the progress has been astounding. We’ve taken on the ENTIRE demo and renovation process ourselves and I’m not sure if I’ve ever been more proud in my life. It’s not perfect, but it’s exactly what I want it to be.
