Is there anyone here who got into a university in South Korea on a scholarship?

I’m from Uzbekistan, and I really want to study in South Korea. Right now I have TOPIK Level 2, but I stopped studying Korean because my parents were against it. However, my dad said that if I get a full scholarship, he’ll allow me to study there.
The problem is that I have no idea where to start. I want to become a translator, but I think I should carefully think about my future career first. Could you recommend some fields of study and tell me how you got accepted, which university you chose, and what the application process was like?

Another chance me post

I ask for a general review rather than something specifically for KAIST, posting here since i see a lot of chance me posts here

98% in 10th grade 99 in both science and mathematics
94% in 11th grade 99 in Mathematics
Expecting something above a 94 in 12th grade

I've created an art portfolio and have been posting on it regularly for around a year as well as been practicing photography for 2 years now. been active in public speaking events, debates, MUNs, represented my school at the national level for debates. Maintained a github for a while but eventually gave up on it as my wants shifted to a more creative side. I've qualified for olympiads before but never actually done great in them, just did them because why not.

Volunteer as a tutor at school, helping whenever I can and have teachers that have strong faith in me and thus strong recommendation letters

Some other hobbies i've touched upon are playing the piano, poetry, basketball, 3d modelling, and other things I tried for the heck of it.

I got 1300 SAT and do you think it's too low? Regardless of my high school GPA and IELTS scores, extracurricular activities, is it still considered as low? Should I retake the test?

Could you rate my chance accepted into KAIST?

Hello, I'm planning to apply for Masters degree at KAIST, however I find that most of the lab requires research experience such as international journal publication or academic achievement in bachelors.

I've got 1-year professional experience in the same field with my major but lack of research experience, my bachelor's GPA is 3.7 / 4.0

I've haven't tried contacting the professors because from other's post mostly they won't respond to master's applicant email

any feedback would be very helpful, thanks a lot!

What are my chances of getting into top Korea unis?

I really want to study in Korea (yonsei, kaist, postech, skku, unist) and live there because of the better job opportunities. My high school GPA is 4.8/5, and I got a 7.0 on the IELTS a year ago, though I think I should retake it. My SAT score is 1590. I have been working as an SAT tutor for the past six months and have helped many students achieve higher scores. I also have strong extracurricular activities and projects, including interviewing professors from top universities such as the University of Michigan and Stanford University (we did some research tgth too). I don't have many notable honors. I placed third in several regional Olympiads but wasn't able to win at the national finals.

In need of guidance as a 16 year old student who wants to get into KAIST.

Good day everyone. I'm a 16 year old 12th grade [state boards] student. I am incredibly overwhelmed by seeing different sources telling me what to do to get into KAIST. Any guidance will be very much appreciated, Thank you.

I have been into some state level programs in IT / Computer Science which I am extremely passionate about (Tech). I have never been into Olympiads (never had the chance to learn about it before being too late) and I am planning to take a gap year (as I'm a year earlier than usual students in 12th) focusing on SAT, Projects, National events e.t.c.

It isn't going to be easy but I am very ambitious about it and so I am curious on what projects/research/Events to take part in to get into KAIST. I know I am very behind than an average student but I want to give it my all and use the this important chance I have.

I have a Robotics, Front end web dev and other basic languages like Python, Basic C, C++, Java and basic projects as my background. I never got to attend or prepare for any "world renowned" competitions or exams yet.

Any help or suggestions would be really helpful. And thank you for reading.
