انا خريجة ثانوي من جدة وتخرجت بمعدل جيد الحمدلله وصار عندي خيارين:
هندسة كيميائية بالبترول ولا هندسة في عزوز (احدد التخصص في سنتي الثانية)
ايش افضل ؟ وهل الأولوية في التوظيف اسم الجامعة ولا المعدل ؟
Side note: افكر اغير تخصصي في البترول في المستقبل الى هندسة صناعية لكن لازم مره اشد حيلي في التحضيري
بليز ساعدوني وقولوا لي رأيكم وتجاربكم 🙏🙏

Im British American and also have a Jordanian citizenship, my iqama is written on Jordanian but I’m willing to change that if it’ll be easier for me to get in

Just saw someone tell me with iqama I stand no chance.

By the way I’m applying to physics and nothing else. Just wanna take a gap year and hope that I can get accepted or I would have wasted a year for nothing.

I am a non saudi but i live in saudi arabia can i get into kfupm with 1590 sat and with full scholarship for bs in electrical engr?

So I have two options

1- apply in the SAT path but after that I have to take a math exam that I know nothing about.

2- wait and see if I can take the primary track exam, problem is is that idk where to study for it and if I can even have that as an option, I have a 100 on my GAT and STEP and 99~ on my school mark

(Please let me know if there is indeed a primary track exam even tho I already graduated this year, and please let me know if it’s about 10th and 11th grade only or is 12th grade now in the exam since it’s not longer early admission exam)

P.S. I’m not a Saudi, I’m a resident :)

Edit: I saw the math I need to study, tho I need 100% for full scholarship so I’d appreciate if someone told me do I focus on primary track or SAT path more.

Hello everyone, I have been admitted to both KFUPM (Electrical Engineering) and METU (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) with a Turk Bursları scholarship. I want to compare them objectively.

My priorities are:

• Difficulty and competitiveness of the programs
• Quality of education
• International reputation
• Employment opportunities after a bachelor's degree
• Opportunities to pursue a master's/PhD in Europe or North America
• Industry connections

If you have studied at either university or have experience recruiting graduates from them, which would you recommend and why?

I have a brief point of ambiguity regarding the English language proficiency requirements for my application. Could anyone please help clarify if a separate IELTS score is mandatory for applicants who have achieved a good grade in Cambridge international IGCSE First language English (0500)

When consulting a local official IELTS office, I was informed that many institutions accept an A* in this specific Cambridge syllabus as sufficient proof of English proficiency, effectively waiving the IELTS requirement. I would be incredibly grateful to know if this waiver policy applies to KFUPM university as well.

I’m currently going into 12th grade. My original plan was to apply to KSU and study medicine, but after learning more about the current healthcare job market, I’ve become more hesitant about pursuing that path.
I’m now considering engineering instead, particularly bioengineering at KFUPM. From what I’ve read, admission to KFUPM is highly competitive, so I want to understand what I should realistically be aiming for.
For someone in my position, what academic achievements would make me a competitive applicant to KFUPM? Specifically, what scores or grades should I target for:
-School average
-SAT (if applicable)
-Qudrat
-Tahsili
-The KFUPM admission exam (if required)
-Any other factors that play an important role in admission

I’d also appreciate guidance on what benchmarks would simply make me eligible to apply versus what scores would give me a strong chance of being admitted, especially if I’m interested in studying bioengineering or another competitive engineering major.

Do I stand any chances of being admitted or even getting a scholarship?

قايز في أحد جرب يكلم إدارة شؤون الطلاب أو المسؤولين عن الأندية بخصوص نادي موسيقي أو حتى فعاليات فيها موسيقى أو غناء؟
إذا اي و انرفض ممكن تقول وش ردهم عليك بالضبط و اسباب الرفض؟ على ان عندنا في السعودية هيئات و لجان موسيقية حكومية مدعومة من وزارة الثقافة الا ان جامعتنا ترفض أي فكرة فيها موسيقى.
لان الفكرة في راسي ومب قادر اشيلها ضروري يكون عندنا نادي موسيقي في الجامعة (لاني أبي أتعلم هواية جديده)

I wanted to ask whether students who already have an iqama (eg. From their parents ) can receive a PhD scholarship and have their iqama transfered to being under the university ?

هل مع تقديم سات لازم يكون مع اختبار انقليزي ؟ زي توفل ايتلس ستيب وبيكون في اولويه بالقبول لو جبت درجه عاليه بوحده منهم ؟
هل فيه تنافسيه عاليه ؟ ( ادري كل مسارات البترول فيها تنافس ) لكن بحكم ان الأغلب يدخل المسار الأساسي فـ كم مدى تنافس ؟

وهل ٨ شهور كافيه للمذاكره ؟ حطوا بالحسبان ان مستواي بالرياضيات يعتبر نوعا ما جيد وانقليزي ماش ( A2 )

الاسئلة الخمسة بنموذج التقديم، هل اجابتي فيها تؤثر على المفاضلة بيني وبين غيري؟ واذا لا فا ليش حاطينها؟ واذا ايه فا وش الاجابة الي هم يبغون يسمعونها؟ اجابة نموذجية مثلًا او متميزة او وش بالضبط؟

Hello guys. Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

Now that it’s summer, I plan to study for the SAT a lot so that I can get the best grade possible. And I am looking to put 4hrs a day for 9 weeks (so about 250 hours.)

Where do you recommend me to put all my hours. The problem with me is that I want to put the work in, but don’t really know how and where to start. So if someone were to give me a full guide for the whole 250h, I would greatly appreciate it. (For both modules obviously)

Hello , my brother wants to enter KFUPM , he has just finished 11th grade. He has only done sat once and scored 1320 ( he is planning to retake it ) . He is also going to do IELTS and the early admission math exam.

However , he is not a saudi national , he is a resident but with a saudi mother. ( ابن مواطنة )

What should his sat score be to guarantee admission? I’ve heard the minimum was 1500… and does it matter that his mom is a saudi national? How can he prepare for the early math exam provided by the university and sign up for it?

does he need to be done sat and ielts in order for him to be able to do the early admission exam?

let’s say he gets 1500 and a 15/15 in the math exam and very high on ielts , can this guarantee admission? and are his chances higher considering his mom is saudi?

Hello all. I completed my fifth semester a couple weeks ago at my current Saudi, accredited college and I thought to apply for a transfer because my grades are very high and my family believes I can aim for a better education. I couldn't find any application page except for the standard application, and the closest graduation year to mine is 2023-2024 but I graduated in the 2022-2023 academic year. So I'm unsure where I can apply. Any help is appreciated, especially a direct link.

Also, I'm a bit confused about the official transcript as a requirement to transfer being specified as needing to be mailed in an envelope, but everything else not having a specification on how to be delivered. Is the application online, EXCEPT for the official transcript copy? Thanks.

(Note - Current cumulative GPA 3.87 out of 4, high school GPA 3.9 out of 4 from an international school, IELTS score 7.5. My only weakness is my GAT and SAAT scores being fairly average.)
