I honestly want to know if this is considered normal in other colleges too.
Today, a lady security guard took my college ID card simply because I was wearing a short kurta. I was asked to collect it from Santhi Sri, where I was questioned about my appearance “Why did you leave your hair open?” “Why did you do makeup?” “Whom are you trying to impress?”🤡
I’m in my final year of college, and honestly, this was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve had here.
I understand that colleges can have dress codes and certain rules, but questioning a student about why she wears makeup, why she keeps her hair open, or whom she is trying to impress feels completely unnecessary and inappropriate.
And if the college is genuinely concerned about maintaining a particular appearance, then at least make the rules clear, written, and applicable equally to everyone. If keeping hair tied is a rule, then it should be an actual rule not something selectively enforced on students.
Has anyone else experienced something similar??

What type of projects will they give us to do?(School lo ichainattu ivvaru kada) Are they usefull? Are they tough? As there are no leisures will there be enough time to spend on those projects? Ok so I switched to a new phone today (Samsung) and im trying to login to the wifi portal using my erp but it’s saying “reached maxing attempts/devices” Ive been trying to login by disconnecting on my other devices but I still couldn’t login. What should I do😭

Like there's online entrance test for klu in November and registration in September and there are 3 of my friends one originally from hyd....like we are from different state but wanted to take admission in here so what is the criteria like what to score in that entrance test and how much to score for boards??

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with BIT Patna (extension campus of BIT Mesra) but for those of you who are, I am a resident of Patna, Bihar and I am getting BIT Patna CSE via csab, the campus is around 15 kms away from my home, so I won't be living in hostels or eating mess food, while on the other hand, I had previously booked a CSE seat in KL university in Vijayawada just in case Josaa fucks me up. They told me that I will have to pay a fees of 9.8 lakhs for four years after scholarship and meanwhile BIT Patna asks for around 16.5 for your years just for tuition fees!!! But considering hostel, mess and all other expenses for the next 4 years, I will have to pay around 16 - 17 lakhs anyways if I choose to study in Andhra Pradesh. So I am extremely confused rn, should I go for BIT Patna CSE or KL university Vijayawada CSE??

If this post reaches a senior or someone who has decent knowledge of both colleges, can you please help me deciding which college should I choose on the basis of:

1. Campus life
2. Placements
3. Hackathons/Internship opportunities
4. Infrastructure and resources

Like anyone knows how academic calendar will be changed for trisemester like why didn’t they inform us perior admission how is that fair over all how will this affect our academics, is this like alot of pressure? And will we get holidays after every semester
