Wieso?

Hi, I recently got accepted to Mechanical engineering (international) here, at KIT, for my bachelors degree but I wanted to ask some questions.

1. Is it really worth it? I've heard, that at KIT the teachers do not do their job and students need to educate themselves most of the time. There is also a lot of unnecessary stress and its better to attend another uni for the bachelors degree.

2. Is the english-taught program of mechanical engineering as good as the german one? Like does it live up to the "elite" standard that KIT has?

Probably a cliched question , but I'm an Indian who just got accepted to the international mechanical engineering program and I'm stressing over it.

1. How's the social life for non-german speakers, assuming they're there at O-Week and participate in clubs (which I'm intending on doing)? I know I should've learned beforehand, but I never expected to actually be accepted into the university (I was learning Dutch for the Netherlands).
2. I intend on learning German if I go, and if I accept the offer will spend my time on it. But I doubt I'll be fluent or even conversational by the time the semester starts.
3. How's dating as a non-German speaker? I'm bi so I'm fine with both women and men. I'm...decently attractive, I guess? Certainly not hideous. I'd put myself above average and below model-level. Short as fuck though.
4. Frats. I looked online and there seem to be some in Karlsruhe that are open to internationals. Is not being conversational in German something that could be looked over (I'll still learn, as I said, and I know it'll be a hurdle. I'm just wondering if it's an insurmountable one).
5. Night life in general. Are there parties, social outings, et cetera or...?

I just got into the MEI program which has an optional add on of a college program worth 7000 euro per semester. I'm a pretty good student but i have no experience with the German university system and perform well under structure. I'm learning german right now and will probably be at a high a2 or low b1 by October. They seem to offer administrative and academic help.

Can someone who has taken this program or knows someone who took it share their opinion? It's a significant financial decision but adds a safety net.

Eigl wollte ich mit Leuten von der Uni wandern gehen, aber das Wetter spielt leider nicht so wirklich mit ): Jetzt sind irgendwie auch alle meine Mitbewohner über das Wochenende nachhause, und ich hab irgendwie am Vatertag nichts vor. Richtiges trauerzeugnis ):

Automotive engineering from 2.59/4( german grade 3.1) Pakistani University

I meet all the required courses as well and exceed the ects in all the required subject areas.

Overall ielts of 7

Since there is no gpa criteria mentioned, I was considering applying but dont know if I will even be accepted.

I have 1.5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, and quality along with industrial projects in automation machines and pneumatic systems.

Can a strong LOM and good LOR work here?

Can you suggest any other unis where I can apply for similar programs with this gpa and profile?
