Hi, I mailed them a while back and just got the reply and it says to include a bunch of things and one of them is the motivation letter but it doesnt specify anything like is it done in an academic career writing kinda way or like summarizing our experiences??

also do we reply the motivation letter in the mail or keep it ready to upload after we get our portal as mentioned in the pdf??

Suppose I get good marks in KUCAT or ioe then what?do I get to choose the collage I want to study like any affiliated collage or main collage and I also want you guys to tell me what is this thing about priority list do we have to fill it or something

I am accepted to ETH Zurich , TUMunich and University of Hong Kong which are best universities of switzerland , Germany and China but since i did my schooling in sainik(hostel) , i don't want to leave my family which i am very anxious about and since my mom is always crying i decided to study in nepal and i am currently deciding between KU and ioe pulchowk of Computer Engineering, and I'd really appreciate insights from people who have studied at either university.

I don't want jobs after graduation. My long-term goal is to build startups, create businesses, and eventually become an entrepreneur. I also plan to pursue a master's at a top university abroad, so research, projects, and academic growth are just as important to me.

Because of that, the single biggest factor in my decision is the people I'll spend the next four years with.

I'm hoping to find classmates who:

• Think beyond getting a stable job.
• Build projects outside of class.
• Participate in hackathons and competitions.
• Are interested in startups, AI, innovation, or entrepreneurship.
• Aim for top graduate schools like MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich, CMU, etc.
• Push each other to grow.

I know every university has a mix of students, but cultures are different. Some places naturally have more people who are driven, curious, and willing to take risks.

For those who have experience with KU, Pulchowk, or both:

• Which university has the stronger peer group for someone with these goals?
• Where did you find more startup-minded students?
• Which has a better culture of building things outside the curriculum?
• If you were starting over with the same goals, which university would you choose and why?

I'm not looking for answers based on rankings, prestige, salary packages, or placements. I'm only interested in the kind of people I'd be surrounded by every day, because I believe the people you spend four years with can have a huge impact on the rest of your life . When I filled out my KUCBT application, I selected Computer Engineering because that was the branch I wanted at the time. However, after attending the KU mock test and campus tour, I've become really interested in Civil Engineering instead. Is it possible to change my preferred branch after taking the KUCBT but before admission, or am I locked into the branch I selected in the application form? Has anyone here been in a similar situation? I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

The KU form doesn't have a priority list! Let's say I choose a course and then later can't get it, doesn't that mean I won't be able to choose another course based on my rank? If I say I want CE and I can't get in, will I not be able to enroll in CS according to my rank? If I can, would specifically mentioning CS in the form give me more priority? Have any of u checked the application form's verification status. Is it still pending for yall? Cus I submitted the form on the first day it was open and its still pending. Is something wrong or is it the same for everyone?
