Sim location
Anyone know how to remove the SIM card on the ev3 ? Or if it uses an ESIM. I’m more concerned about privacy since Kia can sell my location data and remotely disable the car

Me acabo de dar cuenta de la existencia de este botón.
¿Es para enfriar o calentar bebida?
¿Alguien lo ha probado?
Hi! This seems like a great option for me as a next car when it comes available. That said, have a few questions -
- Does the EV3 have the same ICCU issue as other Hyundai/kias, or is it safe?
- Is the USA model, trims, options, the same as any other countries where it’s actively being sold?
- Any good reviews to consider checking out that would apply to USA models/trims?
Thanks all!
Vehicle-to-Load
The EV3 is fitted as standard with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), first introduced with the EV6. It allows customers to power 220V appliances using their EV3 battery by plugging the cable into the EV charging port or the dedicated UK 3-pin socket on ‘GT-Line S’ models, located beneath the rear seats. Already offered on the EV6 and EV9, customers have found this system useful for several applications – such as powering electricals on camping trips, providing power in the case of a power cut at home, and even charging other EVs and PHEVs.
I took delivery of this beauty on Friday - MY26 GT Line S. Delighted to see the chopping board has been replaced by something more useful.
It feels like a quantum leap over my previous 3 year old 'ICE' vehicle.
The 750+ page user manual is especially hard going. I've found it much easier to pass the manual URL to Google Gemini, then just ask questions:

300 miles in and loving it.
My EV3 is going in for its second failed ICCU on Friday and the Aircon has suddenly started making an awful vibration that could be felt through the steering wheel and pedals and could be clearly heard. It did that for a couple of minutes before throwing a Battery Management error and shutting off. Is this a fun new problem or something common?
Hey there! I am driving my KIA EV3 for a few days and I am really happy with the car🙌🏽
There are a few things which I'd like to know about
Is there a possibility to see the exact charge history somewhere in the car or in the app?
When I turn up the car I am sometimes stuck in the N Mode and I cannot change it to D or R eventhough I am pressing the brake and switching the handle
Is it somehow possible to switch the display with the parking sensors to the big screen? Sometimes the steering wheel is blocking the view to it....
Kind regards
Hi everyone, I have the base model EV3 and I love it. Unloading the back I noticed that there is a speaker grill which I assume is where the subwoofer lives on higher level trim ...has anyone with the base model been brave enough to look behind the curtain? Or should I say the trim.
Is there wiring? A bracket for the sub? Or is it just and empty hole of disappointment?

If anyone else in Australia was waiting to see if next years model would bring any changes (like I was), they have updated the brochure to be "2027" MY in Australia.
I had been hoping for no chopping board and 360 cameras (and maybe some new colours), but as far as I can tell it's identical to 2026.
Guess I'll stick with my order that should be here any day now!
I use Apple Maps for short rides.
But if I need the charging schedule, I use the Kia app.
Is that a mistake for me?: the search in the app for addresses is extremely bad (only works with the exact address) and there are no favorites or similar.
Am I doing something wrong?
Hello!
I'm in the US and excited to see the EV3 come to us soon.
I'm currently leasing a 2024 EV6 Wind awd, and was wondering if anyone has experience going from an EV6 to an EV3.
Here's what I know:
-going from 800v to 400v
-less zoom zoom
-about similar cargo space
-similar tech
-lower cost/lease
-similar range (I'm thinking the GT line this time, but don't know all the trim options yet)
Anything else I should consider?
Mich appreciated!
Hi all,
I'm the owner of a 2026 Kia EV3 Earth LR based in Italy and I'm looking to get a full-size spare wheel — same size as the originals (215/50 R19) — with a complete kit (jack, tools, everything needed to change it roadside).
I do long-distance driving and I need something that lets me continue at full speed without any restrictions, not just limp to the nearest tyre shop. So a space saver won't work for me — I need a proper matching spare.
Has anyone managed to fit a full-size 19" spare in the EV3 boot well? Does it physically fit? Any recommendations on suppliers?
Thanks
In New Zealand. Coming up to 15k. At 10 months. Any experience with what order of magnitude the bill will be?
Is anyone else getting a very faint HUD during this heatwave? It's fine every morning, but after a day sat in the car park at work, it is practically impossible to see on the way home.
