How much does it cost per sqft to build a custom home? I’m looking for a 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, about 2000 sqft 1 story home. I have the land and it’s ready to be built on. Nothing special just very basic.

I am leaving in 2 weeks and have a queen sized bed, a 5 piece bedroom set, a couch, and a 5 piece dining set to sell as well as a washer and dryer. I’ve posted some of them online already and will get the others up today, but I’m a bit nervous I won’t find a buyer in that time frame. Are there any stores that buy used furniture in great condition? (And if you are looking for any of these items please feel free to inquire.)
I just realized I am paying $110 for old school internet when I can pay less than that for 1 gig of fiber optic. But I always see reports of people complaining about brightspeed going down all the time.
Any good pest control companies in killeen? I know of Orkin but no idea how good they are. Managed to get them out of my house last year (took a month or so) but they're back again. Want to get it under control before its bad like last year. Thanks.

I am currently looking for jobs in the area and was wondering what's worth it and hiring. I'm almost done with my bachelor's with 96 credit hours and live in San Antonio currently. I'm trying to move next month but it's so hard to even get a head start in looking for jobs. I currently work at a headstart, but don't want to go the teaching route anymore. I have experience in sales and healthcare as well as childcare. I'm trying to find a job at least with a starting pay of 18.

I've run Dana Peak Park about a million times and I'm looking for somewhere else. I like to do my long runs (10-20 miles) somewhere with minimal road crossings. I like running trails but paved parks are fine too.
I heard mixed things about Texas and Killeen itself and to not live in this city. I am looking for somewhere to live while at Ft hood. Can anyone give me advice or recommendations on where to live, or city near hood for a family ? I have a wife and kids and want a comfy home for them while I work. Thanks in advance.

My car needs a transmission service since it hit 100k miles a few months ago (Im well overdue) and it acts kinda funky at times so I know it needs looked at. Im not taking it to the dealer because they're charging $1200 for it and I do not have that kind of money, right now anyway. Is there anyone in the area that does a good job and for a bit cheaper? It needs done but I cannot afford dealership prices, im not familiar with mechanics in the area. Anyone in this area or even closer to Austin is alright. I can make a small drive if I need to.
