How’s the job market out there? I’m currently looking to relocate from Las Vegas and hoping to find a workplace that is genuinely veteran-friendly.
I’ve found that having military service on my résumé can sometimes come with assumptions or stigma, so I’m especially interested in veteran-owned businesses or employers that value the experience, leadership, and work ethic veterans bring.
More than anything, I’m looking for a positive work environment where people are respected and given the opportunity to grow. If anyone knows of veteran-owned or veteran-friendly companies that are hiring, I’d really appreciate the recommendations.

21m . Ive been looking throughout the subreddit and seen the whataburger chess on Wednesday at 7 and was considering going. I’m curious if there’s any other good places where there is people to meet or communities to join. Bars aren’t really my scene but I’m not super opposed to going. I go to several different parks but I’m up for any suggestions to find anything to do around here.

I just need to know who’s hiring fast. I’m a mother of two and the babies eat nonstop and bills keeps coming. I’ve applied to majority retail and fast food and I haven’t heard anything back. I have military background retail background and food service background if that helps. Thanks.

Mayer Trial Consulting regularly conducts focus groups and mock trials seeking opinions about real court cases. Participants in the focus group will hear the facts of a real case and give their opinions and feedback about those facts.

We are currently seeking participants in the Bell County / Temple area for an online focus group to be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5:00 – 9:30 p.m. We will pay you $200 for your time (through your choice of Venmo, PayPal, CashApp or an Amazon Digital Gift Card).

You can join from your home. This will be a virtual focus group, taking place using Zoom. Even though we will be working with you for a few hours, we will be taking a few breaks.

Seriously how do people find someone out here to date? Everyone that I meet has kids wants to be fwb I don’t want or like that and then they get mad when I don’t talk to them because I just don’t want that I feel like it is so hard to find a serious relationship out here like where do I go or how to I meet someone who is serious and wants to talk and actually have a connection I’m 21M and I feel like everybody my age has kids already or just do it want anything more then FWB

Is there any rental assistance for non-military?

Don’t want to be taken advantage. Preferably one that has decent prices.
