Was unsure about a hardcover but she is so pretty!!!

Slight ding on top spine and I should have ordered a clear cover. Minor things considering how cute the cover art is and how buttery smooth it feels. Overall glad I pulled the trigger by ordering last month before it sold out.

2027 weeks kinbor

I really like the design (I originally wanted the mimo sheep one, but I couldn’t find any seller that had it in stock).
It is definitely a lot smaller than the 2026 one, the paper feels a lot thinner. We will see what I think of it next year.
Only con about this cover, is that it is like a craft paper not ar all like the glossy cover with the bows from this year. I’m afraid it will get very dirty by the end of the year.

A6 is here!

Used one on and off since 2022, and wanted to get one for next year again☺️ the cover is smoother than the older versions though, but the pens I like using work well with the paper. So I'm excited!

2027 will be my 5th year in a kinbor! (2024 i used the Kinbor A5 but ended up back in the weeks).

I'm excited for the changes this year and can't wait to open it and set it up in December! ☺️

A5 Daily Just Came 📓

Bought this during the Back to School sale a couple weeks ago and it's here! 11 days to Guatemala - not bad at all!

It did have a bit of a snag on the cover, but nothing major. Ready for 2027!

Weeks comparison

I have a 2026 Unicorn (that I ditched when I couldn’t get over the paper change from the 2025 Snake) and just got an undated Freedom (that I forgot wasn’t bachuan before I ordered it). The Kinbor paper for the Freedom one isn’t bad though! Seemed to have a bit more coating so fountain pen marks didnt widen as much. Less ghosting with Mildliners and fountain pens. Both felt pleasant for writing in pencil. All other pens seemed to do well.

got my (first) 2027 kinbor weeks order... my pros & cons review

Sharing my quick Kinbor 2027 Weeks pros & cons review below!

I got 3 (so far.. 😬 but the weeks format is my favorite planner). Random notes: The pine green is a soft cover (the only one this year I think) which is nice for light-weightness but it doesn't feel durable *at all*, like you could rip the cover off pretty easily. I much prefer the hard covers which are actually thicker and harder than the Hobo weeks in my experience. The 'whisper under the covers' cover has tiny particles of glitter in the material of the hard cover so it shimmers in the light.

PROS:

  1. THE PAPER: it's back to 52gsm (from the not fountain pen friendly 78gsm for 2026) and based on one quick test with a few fountain pens, tombows, mildiners & POSCAS, looks like really great paper again for those of us who use fountain pens and markers.
  2. THE SPREADS: same weeks style spread, most all the layouts are the same except the yearly overview now has 6 tall columns for each month on two pages instead of a blank notes section on the top of the 6 monthly columns.
  3. THE PRICE: the Kinbor Weeks is still so affordable compared to the alternative!
  4. (edited to add!) THE HARD COVERS: the hard covers are still really thick and great quality which I appreciate!

CONS:

  1. PRINT QUALITY: well, this is a bit of a bummer personally, compared to the 2025 & 2026 Kinbor weeks, the print quality (how dark the lines are and the sharpness of printing) is a bit lower. It's a bit harder to read the print, the gray printing of the borders and the grid is lighter, and the printing is slightly more pixelated. It's not extreme nor awful but it's not as good as previous years. I'm guessing I'll just get used to it. Also, my pine weeks is the worst of the three though they are all pretty close and I can only tell because I have a graphic design background.
  2. BLANK PAGES: even though Kinbor went back to the thinner 52gsm paper, they didn't go back to the same number of blank pages in the back. 🙂‍↕️ In 2025 with 52gsm paper it was 80 numbered blank pages, in 2027, it's only 50 numbered blank pages, same as this year (2026) with the thicker paper. Another bummer for me personally because having more blank pages than a regular Hobo weeks was a huge plus for getting a Kinbor.
  3. THE COVER DESIGNS: this one's subjective but this year's designs are... a choice. 😆 They look like AI, or like someone used AI with some 'make some artsy designs that look like a child drew them' prompts. I agree with everyone that the undated planner designs they just released are much more aesthetic and nice, these dated covers are just not as aesthetic. I also wished they had more hard cover solid color options, and more nature inspired designs and not as many hand drawn designs with strange looking animals (some of which are frowning or sticking their tongue out?). They don't exactly spark joy or peace either except the 'whisper' quilt one which is probably my favorite one out of all the covers.

That said, I'm so thankful to have these with the 52gsm because the paper is the main reason I get these planners over the more expensive option. Hope this info helps in your planner choices for next year, have fun! ✨

p.s. will try to post photos when I have time...

Kinbor are doing an A5 Avec for 2027!

>I literally never post on Reddit but had to break my silence cause I'm so excited about the kinbor A5 Avec. 2024 I used the kinbor A5 full year but it was just too chunky to carry around everywhere so I ended up using a separate A6 for planning and kept the A5 at home for journalling. 2025 I was in hobo A5 Avec for journalling and planning and it was great, but I bought it in Japan where it was cheap. 2026 I couldn't bear the cost of the European markup/shipping for hobo (£50 for a notebook... No thanks). So I went for kinbor A6 Avec + weeks for planning - actually I've enjoyed this but still prefer one book. So this new release is really ideal for me! I spent ages last year scouring AliExpress and couldn't understand why they hadn't done an A5 Avec haha. I don't think these will sell out so I'm going to wait a bit and see if the prices come down later in the year...

Is everyone having a hard time finding a 2027 wool curl weekly? 😭

I checked over 15 shops on AliExpress and they are all out of it. Has it not been properly released or is it just very popular that everyone bought it already? 😒

Can you guys post your kinbor weeks 2027?

Hey guys!

For whoever received their kinbor weeks 2027, do you guys mind posting the front back covers and the inside?
I’ve seen a couple of people post theirs on here and they look so much better in real life!
They all look weird/muted in the Alibaba’s listings and they don’t show how they look like from the back. I couldn’t find real life pictures for most of the designs and I really struggled choosing mine :/

I ended up choosing the pekingese dog one, it will arrive end of August/early September. Still don’t know how it will look like hopefully great🤷🏻‍♀️

Up close pictures of the texture on The Pine. Was surprised to get it this fast, I only ordered 9 days ago. 😊

Now to wait on my A5.

I can't decide which one to get 🥲

Ngl I'm not a fan of these covers 😭 I got the plain blue soft cover one last year so I'm planning to get a hard cover this time to try but none of them appeal to me. The undated ones have better covers I think. Which one are you getting? AAAAA

Help getting an undated kinbor please

Hi all, I'm trying to find the "weeks size" undated vertical planner. I'm a hobonichi weeks planner but I want to try out kinbor specifically for the vertical layout.

I'm went to Ali express but it keeps showing me horizontal planners - not vertical. They are different prices too. I asked AI and it said to search
Kinbor undated weekly timeline - this served up some wild sex stuff with??? 😂
I've never ordered from Ali express and now I remember why- I can't find anything.

I don't post on reddit much so I'm not sure of all the rules but can anyone share where I can find this? Like the exact link? Any tips or other places I can find it?

It's Sooo frustrating. Is it even worth it?

Decorated my first kinbor

Switching from fromthenon to kindbor, because they have cute covers AND theyre undated?? So glad they make undated ones too now. I did use my old fromthenon planner’s cover, because it looks more clear instead of the frosted glass-ish type, but its a liiittle too snug.
If you have any questions about the planner’s inside i can take pictures of it :p
