ICE enforcement sightings reported on Iceout.org have doubled to around 30 a day in the Puget Sound area in September. These numbers are TWICE as much as Southern California and the NY/NJ area.

I understand that advocacy exhaustion exists, but our neighbors are getting snatched off the street just on the way they look. We are being for being a haven to immigrants and their families. What happened to blocking their exit in the mornings, protests over the freeways, and responses like in Chicago or Charlotte that forced them to leave.

I implore those of you with money and time to stop this madness. They are doing it quietly so white folks remain in the unnoticed. From someone who cannot safely do it themselves, Help please.

Hello, me & my wife are new to the Kitsap area. We are young adults & we’re wondering if there’s anything to do around here besides movie theaters, parks, & escape rooms. She keeps telling me that this place is boring & it’s just for people who live to work. I’m trying to prove her wrong but from checking Google Maps everything closes early & there isn’t much to do. Would appreciate some advice & thanks..

Hello everyone, I posted in the Bremerton sub, and got some good ideas, but I'd love more options especially around Port Orchard.

I'm a guy coming off a breakup, and now find myself in possession of a lot more time, and a lot fewer things to fill that time that isn't just sitting at home feeling sorry for myself. I live in Port Orchard, work in Bremerton. I have Wednesdays and Sundays off, work into the early evenings on the other days.

I'm looking to fill my time when I'm not at work. Events, volunteering, social gatherings, whatever. It's time I got out of my comfort zone. Hit me with whatever you have or need.

We have a 1999 Civic that is sitting on our property. My husband is really attached to it and has already put a lot of time, parts, and money into it in the past few years.

We can’t afford a new car, and it would be ideal to get this one up and running again. The last place we took it to charged almost $2000 to fix it, it actually ran alright for a few weeks, but then it wouldn’t start (again) —and they refused to warranty their previous work on it, claiming it was a different problem than before. But also refusing to keep working on it to diagnose it, because they couldn’t figure out the problem. So we were out $2000 a few months later and back where we started.

More than anything, we are really in need of an inexpensive reliable, running car and it seems like fixing what we’ve got might be the best option.

TLDR: Looking for an honest mobile mechanic who knows a lot about old Hondas.
