Teutonic Knights: The War That Destroyed Them — Grunwald 1410

Full 29-minute film here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U4sK5FDHyQ

The trailer is the first half of the setup and nothing else — the whole payoff is in the film.

A bit of context, because the story doesn't start at Grunwald. It starts eleven months earlier, in August 1409, when the Order crossed the Polish border and burned Dobrzyń to the ground. What follows is the chain from there: a secret winter council at Brest where three men agree on a plan nobody else in either kingdom knows, a bridge built in sections and floated down the Vistula so an army can cross where nobody is watching for it, and then the field itself on 15 July 1410 — the largest battle medieval Europe would ever see.

By the end of that afternoon the Order had lost its army, its Grand Master and almost every senior officer. Malbork never fell. But the Teutonic Knights never again put an army in the field that anyone in Europe was afraid of.

Made entirely in Seedance 2.5 — every shot, including all the dialogue scenes. Edit, grade and titles in DaVinci Resolve, narration ElevenLabs, score Suno. Happy to answer anything about the process.

One thing I'd honestly like other people's take on, because historians still argue about it: was the Lithuanian retreat a planned feint, or did the wing genuinely break and get rallied? Długosz says feint, but he wrote it for a Polish court a century after the fact. I had to pick a side to make the film work. I'm still not certain I picked right.

And if you do watch the whole thing and it lands for you — leave the comment on YouTube rather than here. That's the thing that actually keeps a channel this size alive, and I answer every one of them.

Spent days fighting Kling's desire to add lips movement on a character who should not speak

Was working on a 6-minute music video, burnt a lot of credits trying to get the whole thing right. And the fix wasn't prompting; it was switching the main part of the film from realistic to paper-dolls. The music video is about an android built to agree with everything you say. The whole visual idea depends on a face that should not change.

Kling would not let that happen. "Closed mouth," "not speaking," "immobile mask," motion strength cranked to the floor, image-to-video from stills, and she kept flapping her jaw like she was mid-sentence. Looks like talking is baked in deep enough that I never got it fully suppressed with prompting.

So I stopped prompting and changed the medium. Redid her as a paper doll. Then rebuilt the entire world that way. Four things came out of that:

  • A doll face is a face that doesn't talk. And the model knows it. Problem mostly evaporates.

When a model has a default you can't prompt away, it's usually a cheaper trick to pick a medium where that default reads as correct than to keep burning credits.

Water Spider

Hey everyone,

I’ve been making a bunch of mini-AI films, but this month I wanted to try something a little more ambitious.

This is WATER SPIDER.

If you want to watch it in 4K, I uploaded the full-quality version here:
https://vimeo.com/1217796233?fl=ip&fe=ec

You can also find me on Instagram at filmedwithwords.ai

Hope you enjoy it. And if you do, feel free to share it around; I’d love to get it in front of more people.

Martian crustacean

I would like to share this video of a martian crustacean walking on the surface of Mars. It is based on a real photo taken by a Mars rover

Specifying timing within a shot

Hi! I'm a complete newbie at Kling. I have a pro subscription.

I want to make a video starting with a reference image and describe the action of the scene. Kling does a good job of this, but I can't control the timing of the actions.

I'm just interested in a single shot. I want something like

  • Character A speaks for 3 seconds
  • Then character B does something.
  • At 6 seconds something else happens.

I've tried entering time parameters, but they seem to be ignored. Is there a way to achieve this control?

"Blue Eyes Baby" - Dark Fantasy Rock Concert

I tried to put together a full concert (song starts at 1:05). The video was made with Kling 3.0 and 2.5, and the music was done in Suno by uploading my old band jam recording. 🤘🏼

How to make continuous first-person POV videos with multiple camera movements?

I want the “eyes” to move to the right, then the left, etc. but all in one shot. If I direct it to do that in one shot, it doesn’t get any camera movements right, and if I do it through multi-shot, it cuts at each shot.

NATASHA - RnB song with Russian hook; a spy story.

"Natasha" by Mishka and the Tigercats.

Very proud of this one - took a long time to make, but it's almost perfect (this is my fourth AI video). The singing performance is all Kling Motion Control, and some of the reaction shots too. The rest is a mix of Veo 3 fast, Wan 2.7 and Kling Omni.
The dress is my design - drawn by hand in Photoshop and transferred in Veo3.
The only problem is - YouTube will not show this video to ANYONE. 17 impressions in the first day is a joke.

THE WAR DRUM

The spear became the club.
The shield became the drum.

When he struck it,

his army grew stronger,

moved faster,

and the sun turned red.

War answered.

Nerdy Girl in Other Worlds (part 6)

FYI - I’m going for a silly sci-fi/fantasy B-movie vibe so please don’t waste your time nitpicking errors due to typical AI imperfections or other silliness. Instead just assume they are part of the B-movie aesthetic. I make these videos just for fun and they aren’t meant to be realistic or taken too seriously😀. Consider me a combination of Ed Wood and Russ Meyer but for AI video.

Made with Kling 3.0, Splice, and ComicCaptions.

This series is a direct sequel to The Demi Monica Saga -

Nerdy Girl in Other Worlds: episode 6

The story so far..

It has been over a year since a young scientist named Phoebe (aka Nerdy Girl) first discovered an Alien Hypersphere that transported her into a zombie apocalypse alternate future in the year 2050 where she met her future daughter, Rebecca! After a detour to the year 1925, Phoebe and Rebecca were able to use the Hypersphere to travel back to the year 2025 and, with the help of an alien named Anika, they managed to stop the zombie apocalypse from ever starting!

However, the prevention of the zombie apocalypse upset a demonic witch named Demi Monica, who had possessed a girl named Angelica! Demi was determined to bring about an Apocalypse on Earth and set out to steal the Alien Hypersphere in order to open a permanent portal between Earth and Hell! Demi managed to kidnap Anika the alien to obtain the Hypersphere but Anika resisted. Eventually Phoebe and Rebecca discovered Anika’s location but a rescue attempt resulted in Anika’s apparent death and put Rebecca in a coma! Demi then murdered Phoebe’s parents, turned them into pepperoni and tricked Phoebe and her cousins into eating them as toppings of a pizza!

Before Anika the alien died she transferred the Hypersphere to Phoebe giving her powers of super-durability, shape shifting and psychokinesis! Phoebe then used the Alien Hypersphere to bring the evil demonic witch Demi Monica to Hell and destroyed the Hypersphere to assure that Demi Monica could not return to Earth! But this has also trapped Phoebe in Hell!

Upon awakening from her coma, Rebecca vowed to rescue Phoebe! Her uncle Doc Brownie had spent the past few months creating a new Hypersphere capable of transporting Rebecca to wherever Phoebe disappeared to! Using this new Hypersphere, and with the help of a magical necklace from a mysterious young woman, Rebecca was able to transport herself to Hell!

Once she arrived in Hell, Rebecca was chased by two demons, but her mom Phoebe (aka Nerdy Girl) suddenly appeared using her superpowers to kill the demons and Rebecca was finally reunited with her mom!

Rebecca’s Hypersphere was destroyed during the trip to Hell and Phoebe suggested that they journey to Satan’s castle to ask for help! Upon reaching Satan’s castle they were reunited with Angelica, the girl who had been possessed by the evil demon Demi Monica! Satan had de-possessed Angelica (removing the demon Demi Monica) and then decided to send all three girls to Heaven to let God deal with them!

Upon arriving in Heaven, and after noticing that Angelica changed from female to male (due to being a trans female), Phoebe, Rebecca and Angelica were greeted by an angel named Ivy. Phoebe asked to talk to whoever was in charge but was told that they would not be able to meet with the Lord for a few days. Ivy offered to bring Phoebe and Rebecca to Phoebe’s Aunt Cynthia, who had died two years earlier. Ivy also offered to let Angelica stay with her until the group meet with the Lord. Ivy and Angelica later went on a date that ends with Angelica’s powers being triggered transforming her back to female!

After a few days in Heaven Ivy takes Angelica, Phoebe and Rebecca to finally meet the Lord!!!

..the story continues..
