The reddit narratives around 2000's hoops are insane to me

It's insane to me how many people out there now believe that Tim Duncan was the best player of the decade despite never repeating and leading the US to a bronze in 2004.

Kobe was a game away from 3 peating twice, but apparently because he was on a team with Shaq the first one doesn't count?

I never hear about Parker or Ginobili being a factor in the Spurs success it was all Duncan apparently.

I'm I the only that ends up a general nba reddit and goes insane by the disrespect to the legend?

The first is his rookie year in 97. Next is him in 98 just before the famous All-Star game. I'm so jealous! I wish I could do that!

Mamba Grails 🐍

I know the word is used loosely. I know everyone has their own take on what a grail sneaker is and or should be. But to me this sneaker has always been special to me. To me this is a top 5 Kobe. I remember when they first dropped w/ the Beethoven’s, and sold out quickly. Resale was super high so I never got around to snatching a pair. Come full circle to today and they are sitting on shelves and online(which is a good thing imo); oh what a great time to be a sneaker head.

PS my favorite color is purple 💜

Lifelong Kobe fan. Recently I’ve become a craft hobbyist. This is pyrography w/acrylic paint and epoxy resin seal. Haven’t sealed the back yet, and I know there’s some color discrepancies etc.. Dope or no?
