The first game this series got and it's...bizarre

>!A stand alone game where you play as Yamai Ren (the most hated character in the series)? With a completely edgier tone than in the original series? How? What was the board room meeting like when coming up with this idea, what was their thought process when making this? Not only that, there's multiple endings all with different branching paths. The existence of this game is utterly baffling. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy it, the game actually delves into Yamai as a character, how her mental illness really affects and explains why she is the way she is, to the point where I actually liked her in this game. Also the interactions with Nakanaka were adorable. !<
