Best time for Spa World, no crowded

I’ve been to Spa World once on a Sunday. I liked it. Hot sauna and steam, but it was very crowded as is often mentioned. Is it better on weekday nights? Don’t mind a conversation, but not looking for a full pool of bodies.

Kspa Tour Continued 5/22

Over this past weekend I tried out Parkside for the first time and here are my thoughts. I wish the hot tub got a little hotter actually but the jets that come on periodically were a great touch. I really enjoyed that there are chairs to lounge in the wet area. The steam room seemed way too steamy. It was hard to see even a little bit in front of your face, so seems kind of dangerous if you ask me. Dry sauna was nice/standard.

There were a good group of guys in and out during the time I spent there…anywhere from 10-20 fluxing in and out. Now, there was definitely some different things I’ve experienced here that I didn’t at spaworld or Kingspa but that’s a story for the dms….

Anyway, had such a good time was thinking how I want to go back soon. Originally I was going to try the last spot on the tour, but I was recommended to try out the scrub and massage with the best masseuse which happens to be a Parkside. After this chaotic week, that’s where I plan to spend a good chunk of my day tomorrow. I would say I’ll report back here but might be another story for the dms….

Spa world jacuzzi and cold sauna both still down

I was at small world today and noticed both the Jacuzzi and cold room were down. The Jacuzzi has been off and on over the past few months, and it had a few inches of water at the bottom today with the Jets on, but the staff had no idea when it would open. The cold room was roped off.

I know this technically isn’t a KSpa, but thinking of trying out Balian Springs some time soon. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it?

To note I have been to all the KSpas in the area (Riverside, Parkside, Spa World, King Spa).

Everybody’s at King Spa

Last week was a tough week at work so I said I would go to King Spa to relax (this is a once/quarter treat to myself). Apparently, all of NoVA decided to show up today, too. I’m sure the $30 day pass is the draw.

king spa Friday or Saturday

Going to king spa on Friday night or Saturday during the day. Normally go solo but looking to chat this time. Anyone looking to hang out? Spend most of my time in the wet area. 40m

Best spa for younger men

Am in my 40s but look a lot younger. Am interested in which spa tends to draw younger guys, fit and/or skinny. This is more my vibe and tend to want to converse and chill with guys in this demographic. Thanks in advance

How’d Parkside?

I haven’t been to Parkside spa in a bit. Last time I went was before the ID requirement. Is it still busy there throughout the weekdays? Are ppl starting to come in with swim suits? Is it any cleaner or dirtier? Just wondering

Kspa Tour Continued 5/17

I’ve recently been exploring the kspa scene. It has been fantastic for muscle recovery. I first went to Kingspa. It was nice/new and clean. I went on a Sunday and honestly it was much busier when I went on a Thursday. At least there, the weekend gets a bad wrap. Lots of newer people to kspas there, many people seemingly not as comfortable in the wet area, which is a pretty good size.

Spa world was definitely a different experience. I went on a Friday. Lots of people throughout the day. I was able to have some of the common area sweat rooms to myself though. The wet area was a different story, very busy the entire time I was there. Every area in the pool was pretty much taken up and frequent visitors in and out of the sauna/steam rooms. I also found them to be a bit unbearable at times. There were a few interesting things going on but hey.

Confining my tour, I’m interested in Parkside and plan to go this weekend, probably Sunday. Excited to check out that scene and report back.
