Building 5 long LED ticker panels (1.5-2m each) for stock market info — is HUB75 P5 + Raspberry Pi 5 the right call? Total beginner here

Hey everyone,

I want to build a few long LED panels, somewhere around 1.5-2 meters each, that constantly display stuff like stock market tickers, prices, maybe some news headlines. End goal is to have 5 of them running all the time.

From the little bit of research I've done so far, I was leaning toward HUB75 P5 16x32cm panels and connect them together, with a Raspberry Pi 5 (2GB) doing the driving. At start I would like to create just 1 panel, eventually making 5 or so.

But honestly I'm completely new to the electronics and have no idea if that's the right call.

I would appreciate any kind of advice.

Anybody hear about the OLED ?

When it's off, it completely blends into your desk. When it's on, pixels light up directly on the glass, making windows and data look like they are floating in mid-air.

No bezels. No bulky frames. Just pure, deep OLED blacks and vibrant colors rendered directly on a sleek glass surface. It genuinely feels like bringing science fiction straight into a minimalist workspace setup.

Honestly, traditional monitors are starting to look incredibly outdated compared to this.

Would you rock a transparent glass OLED display on your desk, or do you prefer the classic matte setup?

HELP!!! Anyone use Huidu Technology? Especially the HD-C16L Asynchronous Card

In an attempt to be a little more modern, my company switched from a plain static sign to an LED sign. We hired someone who we thought was a respectable business man to build and set up our outdoor sign. We have had it for about 3 or 4 years now and it has been nothing with problems and the business man is not wanting to help us. We are not technical people at all so it has been a struggle to get it to work. Any sign company we look to for help only offers to rebuild everything from the ground up and we just can't afford that. We got a new Asynchronous card and were able to install it and get a connection with the HD Player program. Here is where our problem arises. We do not know how to properly program the system. Every video we see skips past the programming. They say to either download the parameters( we dont know where to find that information) or use smart settings. We get to smart setting and are completely lost! Im hoping someone may be able to help us fix this so we can use our very expense LED sign. It is a C16L Asynchronous receiving card from Huidu Technologies. Module size is 16x32(hxw) and the full enclosure is 80x224(hxw). Any information on how to find the right parameters or using smart settings would be a great help!!
