I run a small local business here in SL and I’m finally looking to get a proper webpage set up for it. The problem is, I have absolutely no tech background and I’m completely lost on the pricing.

​I’ve asked around a bit and the quotes I'm getting are all over the place—some people are quoting pocket change, and others are asking for an arm and a leg.

​Can anyone break down how developers or agencies usually charge here?

​What’s a realistic price range for a standard, clean business website (just info, contact page, maybe a portfolio—no heavy e-commerce stuff yet)?
