went to shoot a quick snapchat and heard this little guy in the woods. fun seeing nature at home.

man this sucked! I remember carefully training this plant for days and finally took it too far. she barely had nodes as it was, so it was quite a loss. I tried foliage tape to no avail. what’s ur fave way to try and save snaps like this? 🪝🌱💀
TL;DR where can i find some fire wedding cake seeds?
My little sister is getting married next year, my current run has 4-6 more weeks to harvest, and i think i want to do a run of wedding cake for my next run as part of my gift to her my future brother in law.
I grew a pack of barney’s farm a few years back and don’t remember being too impressed with it (but i also did things way different back then so could have easily been user error). anyway, what breeders would you recommend if i want a pack of the terpiest wedding cake seeds?
current grow photographed. from left to right:
•peanut butter yahmba (kid.kaya)
•vanilla berry band (westco)
•klingon kandy f2 (AWKID)
Is this good for my first time doing lst?
this is done by a fellow redditer and permission to post has been granted (u/blechbetscher)
ive never seen better defol and training in my life! no explanation needed. just wow. talk about inspo! 🪝🌱👀💀
u/ Jeanhamel posted this a while back of one of their mother plants, and I never seen anything like it.
I'm wondering if this is a better idea than execution.
You are putting all of your time, space, nutrients and resources into one set of roots.
If anything goes wrong during flower, you are fucked.
I also get tired of smoking the same strain over and over again.
In a perfect world, I'd grow as many strains as I could in solo cups and get an oz of smokable flower from each one.
Which do you prefer, one giant monster or more variety?
old photo from the archives.
looking back, i may have been slightly over-equipped for this grow. 😭😂
i think this is the design intent of these clips. thoughts? looks pretty ridiculous imo 🪝🌱👀💀
Not exactly sure what day it is but about day 24 since it germinated. Started lst about a week ago, topped 4 days ago and transplanted yesterday (yes I know it's a lot in a short time frame but this plant is a beast!). I think it's looking pretty good apart from the white spots caused by spidermites but I've been spraying with diluted tea tree oil and it's working like a charm so I hope it continues going well. Any advice is appreciated.
I haven't grown since '97, and in a totally different place. WTH? A lot has changed! I kept hearing about auto flowers and decided to give it a shot, but do it outdoors where I think I can grow until December. I grabbed a variety of strains that'll do good in my type of climate and starting with 1 White Widow for a little practice. The plan is to do a little LST, get a feeding schedule down, as well as test my pest and fungus prevention. Anyway, she's planted off center after being soaked overnight and germinated 2 days in wet paper towel.
Doing some stress training last night and snapped a branch.
1st pic is as it happened.
2nd pic is after I taped it.
3rd pic is what it looked like this morning
4th pic is my effort to stand it back up.
What are the thoughts here? Chop the branch? Think it makes it?
Upset about it because it’s one of my elderly neighbors plants that I take care of him for.
These plants suffered a lot. Stretched because of lack of sunlight but came back to life after I bought a Vilarspectra 150w. I had to bent them and burry a good chunk of the stem. The auto is full LST and the Photo went trough one cropping and SCROG.
found this going through old grow photos looking for LST pics. i was ashamed at the time. i thought i had done something wrong. obviously this is genes 😂
strain was pink lady. i know it was awesome tasting. i think like country time pink lemonade 💕🍋
I’m a nerd by nature and so I have been binging on information, especially when it comes to understanding just how any systems work.
I’ve only topped it once and it was first really cool just to watch all the branches surge upward after that, but then what was almost cooler was using LST to changed the highest dominant top a few times and how it redistributes its hormones to push the others.
Pretty crazy how quickly the tips can turn back up as well !
She loves the training. Mainlining in 15gal SIP. Living soil water only.
