graduate academic misconduct

looking for any similar experiences/maybe support. I am halfway through my MLIS graduate program fully online through LSU, and during my last summer course, i foumd out at the time grades were due that three of my assignments were flagged for AI. the only thing I used was Grammarly, which I have used since 2017, and have since learned is considered AI. I put together evidence of me writing the papers, tracking history, notes I took, and had my meeting with the case manager. I explained to her that this is my second master’s degree and that I’ve never had an issue with Grammarly before and didn’t even know it was considered AI now. I just got my letter results back, and they found me responsible for use of AI and I have to take a misconduct course, I’ll receive zero credit for the three assignments so I’ll fail the class, I’m on academic probation with restriction, and I’ll have a note on my permanent record until I graduate, when I can request it be taken off. I’m completely mortified and domt even know if I want to continue the program, because if I somehow get flagged again (trust me I will never use Grammarly again) I can and probably be suspended. I’m not sure what to do, or if there is anything I can do.

New LSU friends?

I am a dude who just turned 21 and am a junior doing social work.

I like video games, yapping and trying new shit (id be down to explore hobbies and interests as I love growing.

I had a big group freshman year but as is common it splintered. I have one really amazing friend and then some other peeps over the summer who may or may not turn into really good everyday friends (yet to be seen)

Lowkey kinda feel bad because I put myself out there, joined lots of clubs, go to events, even have a bf at another school but like still have only a few peeps in my corner (and most of the time they are busy)

I am not saying I am forcing anyone to commit to like best friends forever just want a bigger group of people to do sidequests with and have fun!

Weird AI Accounts

Hey I dont go to LSU but I've came across an account of an AI user that says they go to LSU, my friend who goes to LSU also saw something similar but he saw another creator. The one I came across was gracewright45 on tiktok. It's a very weird account, I wanted to post this here incase they were using the face of a real student who attends this university. If they are, this is a very bad look for her (even if its ai, some people may not be able to tell) and I would like help to get that account taken down. Maybe this is apart of something bigger? Im not sure, but help this account get taken down.

Buying student tickets from someone else

How does buying and transferring student tickets work now since they have changed it for this year?? Can you still buy from another student and have them transfer it?

Update: I emailed the ticket office to know for sure and this is what they said,

“Students will not be able to sell their tickets or transfer to anyone else. If a student is unable to attend a game they will be able to return the tickets to our office and we will have a request list of students interested in purchasing tickets for that game. We will then offer any returns to students on the request list by their student priority points rankings. Please watch for information on the claims/returns process later this month.”

Meal Plan

Last Tuesday I canceled my meal plan and gotten an answer the next day. Would I have to pester them to get an answer or would I just wait I was told last week it’d take 5-7 business days for it to be removed but I’m thinking like it shouldn’t have to take that long plus that first payment due Wednesday at 4pm what should I do?

Are professors allowed to hold lab/class on official breaks?

I know syllabi schedules are subject to change, but I’m worried because I will be out of town for fall break and my professor has a lab scheduled for a day on break (as well as an assignment due ON thanksgiving)

Slightly alt Sorority Rushing

Hey! So I’m not insanely alternative, but I have a few tattoos and an eyebrow piercing. Should I expect not to get any bids, I’m getting nervous and am considering not going at all.
