I’m a freshman and just choose my housing and picked WCA on the first floor. I saw some old posts that around 2019-2020 it was really bad and not well cleaned is that still the case? Also is it still relatively safe despite having less security measures as a hall? Also any recommendations would be great!

Has anyone that is taking in person classes for summer 2026 received anything about financial aid disbursing? My aid doesn’t even have a date for disbursement yet.

Has anyone else seen their financial aid go through on Workday today? I have called financial aid and they stated there are no issues, but normally the payments have gone through by now. Wondering if anyone else has had the same issue? For spring, I got an email at 4am the day the payments were supposed to be applied, and I have not yet received anything for the summer term.

I complete all of the requirements for my bachelor's at the end of fall 2026(if everything goes fine). My workday has my expected graduation as spring 2027. I heard that in order to graduate I have to apply. How do I do this and when do I need to start doing it in order to get my diploma at the end of the fall?

I’m a transfer student, and I want to know if anyone knows how to schedule summer classes.

I was scholastically dropped spring 2013… so 13 years ago. Has anyone had a similar situation and went back to finish your degree? Was it difficult getting readmitted or did you have to retake more classes than expected? I heard college credits usually don’t expire. I had 110+ credit hours and was 5-6 classes away from graduating. I even remember doing my capstone class. I fell into bad addiction with alcohol and gambled into serious debt and never went to class my final year. I haven’t gambled in 9 years and I haven’t drank in 8. I think I’m finally stable and have cleared all my debt. A downside I see is the cost of tuition has gone up almost 3x in that those 13 years. I’m wondering if I can go back for a year and they just get me a bachelors finally. Any opinions? Thanks💀

So I recently just pleaded guilty to my first offense for a SAA case and I got an F, warning in the SAA system and had to complete a moodle module. Fast forward to this week I just found out that one of my professors submitted an assignment not worth much of my grade to the SAA and I know I’m not guilty because the first offense scared the shit out of me and I swore to never commit academic dishonesty again. But just in case I am unfairly found guilty what would the consequences of a second offense be from someone with experience?

I’m trying to get my parent plus loan completed for the Summer & Fall 2026 semester. Are yall loans showing provisional or is it not packaged at all? They said that LSU won’t open applications until the 25th.

I want to be an anthesiologist. I don’t mean to be dramatic and I know medical schools consider more than your gpa and i’m really early to thinking upon this since I just finished freshman year. Is it over for me? only because I know I need a 3.7 atleast and since i’m at LSU i’m looking at LSU Health New Orleans and LSU Health Shreveport medical schools which are MD . I just keep comparing myself to others and I know I need to stop since i’m lacking confidence in myself. I just need reassurance or hope that even if i get to a 3.7 i’ll be ok. I just someone to be straight with me. I KNOW I’ll need a high mcat. I have to take micro bio and organic chemistry please anyone give tips on how to study early for that any youtubers or books they had assigned for those classes to read? kahn academy? I’m definitely open to DO schools as well! I just don’t know many with a good reputation or being known in Louisiana if that matters ?? It’s ok if you can only one aspect of the several questions I have Id appreciate all the help I can get.
