Vocal Covers
Have got to stop. What are we doing here? Congrats, go front a band or something.
Edit: vocal covers accepted: smooth jazz, pop, anything that’s not putting your own metal spin on what Randy already done did better than any of us could for this genre.
Little snippet of Omertà from Dynamo last weekend
Long time listener and first time seeing them live, blew my socks off
That Time I Saw Oderus Urungus' Viking Funeral and GWAR's Return at GWAR-B-Q (Hadad’s Lake - Richmond, Va., Aug. 2014).
12 years ago, i spent an emotional weekend at GWAR-B-Q - held months after the sudden death of Dave Brockie at Hadad’s Lake in Richmond, Virginia. Honestly, I could spend hours reliving memories from this particular weekend - I can still vividly remember the sight of seeing Oderus Urungus' costume burnt to a crisp during a fitting viking funeral, and how the emotions ran high for everyone as GWAR returned onstage.
I tried to put some thoughts down in writing via Substack (link below) - including stories involving Lamb Of God's Randy Blythe and former members of GWAR, but hope to share more memories from that weekend at a Virginia waterpark in the near future. In the meantime, check out my post via Substack for a start (and this clip for some photos of the weekend):

Stay tuned for more things to come from this space, including stories from concerts and music festivals like this!
I picked up Lamb of God's album *Ashes of the Wake* for $3.64!
It's the US first-pressing CD! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Summer Breeze Set
My Daughter and I are watching the set at summer breeze and Randy sounds possessed. You tube is streaming it live for those in the states.
The Kicks keep muddying the mix every now and again which is frustrating but that metal shows. The crowd is hyped and the setlist has ripped the whole run though. Hit me it the titty if you tune in before Redneck melts German face.
Their best album? 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Picked this up the other day. First LoG to add to my vinyl collection. Jamming to Pariah right now. Is it weird to have a live album be my favorite? Whole record is on point
The Lamb of God poster I could never put a price on.
Back in 2012, I was 21 and a massive Lamb of God fan.
When I found out they were coming to Bangalore for the Resolution Tour, I desperately wanted to meet them and get my poster signed.
The problem was, I could only afford the concert ticket. A meet-and-greet pass was simply out of my budget.
So, being 21 and having the strength and stupidity that only your early 20s can provide, I went to the airport around midnight, roughly 4–5 hours before their flight was expected to land and waited at arrivals.
I didn’t know if it would work. I just knew I had to try.
And somehow, somehow, we managed to get near the band as they came out of the arrivals gate. We got them to sign our poster and even managed to get a bunch of photos with them.
The only signature missing from the poster is Mark Morton. We couldn’t reach him, apparently they had just come off a flight that had taken more than 24 hours from their previous gig, and he was understandably exhausted.
I actually remember this entire night almost minute by minute, from the moment the band walked out of the arrival gate to the moment they got into their cars and left for their accommodation. I could probably write a ridiculously long story about everything that happened, but I’ll spare everyone that for now.
Instead, I just wanted to share this framed poster with fellow Lamb of God fans.
It’s one of those possessions that I genuinely don’t think I could ever put a price on.
And yeah… seeing this also makes me realise how much I miss Chris Adler in Lamb of God. I absolutely love Art Cruz and what he brings to the band, but I’ll always miss seeing Chris behind that kit.
2012 was a hell of a time to be a Lamb of God fan.
Laid to Rest Cover
Been practicing this one for a while. Hope you like it
What direction would you guys have preferred they went for the new logo?
I think this version still feels close enough to the og papyrus but also feels more cohesive stylistically with the sound and direction.
@riddickart crushed it with the art too
Is there any song that has gained more relevance over the last 20+ years of American foreign policy disasters than AOTW?
I mean, a puzzled US Marine talking about indiscriminately killing brown people because they all looked like terrorists to them, and in the process making the situation infinitely worse is something you can sort of insert anywhere post-Gulf war but man does this resonate now
Such a hard riff to play ! still a long way before i perfect it. Hope you guys enjoy this !
This is my fav lamb of god song ever !!
GF surprised me with a signed copy of Sacrament - Limited White Edition. Excuse me while I mask the sniffling with my amp😭
