It did take a little while for me to get to grips with the controls on console but it was worth it. I love this game ❤️ It would be so cool if there are different versions of shops in the future. Imagine a retro gaming shop or a little supermarket it would be so cute.
I just received an update for leafy corner on switch. Would this be a bug fix? Nothing has been mentioned on Steam so I just wanted to make sure.
Interestingly though, I had been thinking early on that the customers have pretty good pathing but literally NO ONE has asked for or just taken any of the things hanging from the ceiling - anyone else seen this?
I will never say it's 'finished', but I am at least, temporarily satisfied. :)
One new thing I've done that really helped was adding not-for-sale variegated plants directly beneath their for-sale counterparts. I love the uniform look and makes it easy to replace if they all sell out in a hurry.
Did you know you can put large or medium plants into small pots? Pretty cool.
When asked for a recommendation for something like “something weird that looks like it’s from outer space” and then when you show them something weird (I think I picked some alocasia with weird leaf pattern/shape) they say “wow I’m disappointed”. Like why is it so specific? I also had one that asked for white flecks and got mad when I offered a satin pothos that also has white specks (I get it was probably asking for a maculata but still, the other has white spots too). Anyways I think I needed to just get that out to people that may understand 😂😂 no real complaints from me. And I liked this drawing, it made me chuckle.
my next move is to make my shop more full looking. also didn’t know you could also color the counter!
This is my shop so far! I really want to love the game but... I wish you could sort the plants in your plantbook by abilities. So if someone wants a plant that doesn't need direct sunlight, I could filter it somehow. Right now I have to look through all the plants, unless I somehow just remember it. I also wish that they were at least listed in alphabetical order! Would also be fun to see which plants and pots sell the most - or maybe it's just random what plant customers buy?
Please let me know if there is a way to filter the plants, if I have missed it :D

So I just spent three hours creating this shop layout and planting all the plants. I sometimes find it sad that you can't set the placement of the pots as a keep, yk what I mean? Like I wish I could save the layout and placement of the pots so that I do not have the replace them every time...
But besides that I really enjoy the game. It helps to calm my busy mind.

I am having SO much fun with this game! Once I got everything unlocked, I went about just building a shop that was aesthetically pleasing and featured my favorite plants; a place that I'd want to go in and hang out. Hope you enjoy and take some inspiration!
I removed almost all the ceiling lights for the pics. It just made it all look too cluttered.

Anyone else longing for a “sort by” in the menu?!?!
Just bought the game and absolutely in love! But I’m finding the need to either: make a spreadsheet with columns for the variety of features from each plant ; just hope to memorize them enough and go off what I know about the plant already ; or continually pause and unpause as I look up the guide.
Anyone have a current solution/strategy they find helps for this?
I have my shop organized with pet friendly vs not pet friendly sides and the easy care on the bottom shelves vs the more difficult plants on the top. It’s working okay but I’m still finding myself consulting the guide and spending so much time scrolling through plants I don’t want/ haven’t unlocked.

So I love playing Leafy Corner a lot but sometimes found looking for certain plants for customer requests tedious. So I spent about an hour creating this spreadsheet to help others out there in filtering and finding the right plant to sell their customers!
The spreadsheet is pretty straightforward. It lists all available plants in Leafy Corner as of writing as well as their attributes like the plant size, growth period in days, and other properties such as whether the plant is safe for pets, likes high humidity, trailing or carnivorous, and so forth!
A couple of notes:
Feel free to save the spreadsheet so you can have your own copy! If there’s any incorrect info please let me know in the comments (hopefully not but I manually made the entire database from scratch so it’s still possible).
