Is there a way to change these crazy intense shadows?
The shadows are so dark that I literally can't see and the contrast makes my eyes hurt

I've been seeing users here claiming most fans don't like the corruption update. Well I want to make a post to reach out to fellow fans of this new mechanic.
I guess I'm more an adventure player, I love how much the atmosphere spooked me first time challenging the corruption zones, and I love what Shaman Altani told Naraa, that delivering keeps people together, and that's what keeps the corruption at bay. It gave me a new way to think about which jobs I should prioritize, like I see corruption coming closer to a specific settlement, I should take deliveries leading that way. I play on Courier difficulty and I think the pace is just right.
It's an extra challenge that makes me excited to see how it's all going to come together in the full story.
I don’t know if this is already known, but I just found this cutie at Shilugei
I like that there are different horse breeds in the game. But I'd like these breeds to differ not only in appearance but also in their characteristics. A heavy horse can't gallop across the steppe as fast as an Akhal-Teke. But an Akhal-Teke also can't carry as much weight on its back as a heavy horse. And none of them can compare to the endurance and ease of the Mongolian horse. I want to be able to choose the horse breed depending on what I need to deliver where and how quickly.
I also really want horse racing—a free route from start to finish with checkpoints. That would be incredibly interesting. Different routes over different distances.
I think that would be of interest to many people.
I’m a little frustrated and I know it’s early access but I’ve finally found the herd I wanted to tame and now my game is bugging, I can’t mount my horse, and none of my throwing mechanisms work. But the worst part is THE GAME HASN’T SAVED IN 40 MINUTES. I know it’s a lot of work for the game and everything but things like these are reasons I would drop a $30 game, no matter how pretty it is.
Hello LoK community! Been playing about 60 hours now in Beta and really enjoying the game - except for maybe the wolves and purple fire skull tree things. So I don't get lost, this is my new favorite wild I caught out by Jochi's village! So pretty :)
Anywho- I have all of the non-Tov stables "unlocked" now and I have been catching and buying quite a few horses to make some (hopefully) nice foundation lines for various things (max stat, environmentally resistant traits, etc.). I have some great colors and stats to start working with but many are out at other stables besides Tov. So I have started catching lower stat wild mixes and riding them out to the satellite stables and then switching to ride the horse I want in Tov back. So my nearest stable by Tolui(?) Just has trash wilds in it because I brought the few nice fergies to Tov.
As I have been doing this, it has occurred to me that there will be a cap at how many wild horses I can catch (for example, if I have 10 stalls in Nuuryn Khot, and I catch 10 wilds nearby, then the stable is full).
As a result, I have a few questions if anyone knows the answers to one/multiple that would be fabulous!
Is there a way to sell horses from these remote stables? Or once I fill it up, that's it, no more horses can ever be added to there?
If I have 10 stables in Stable X, and send 10 wild horses to it, and then I tame an 11th, what does the game do? Will it even allow you to tame wilds? Will it send the horse to the next nearest stable? Or can you tame it, but not send it to the stable?
If I move my best horses to Tov to breed them, by switching them out one-by-one, then essentially the outer stables become holding pens for pasture pets/throw aways since I can't sell them from anywhere but Tov? But a horse has to take the place of another horse when switching mounts at satellite stables?
If I really really wanted to, could I walk to one of the satellite stables to bring a horse back (and free up space at that stable)?
Thanks everyone!
Been aiming to breed a Light Gold Cream Champagne Dun so I figured I'd go for it in a Breton. Got it in a max stat too!
Bonus, a Breton in one of my favorite colors as well!
I’m really enjoying the new update overall! I did turn off the corruption, because it’s just not what I’m looking for from the game (I love that they made turning it off an option, thank you game developers). My question: is there a benefit to protecting the shrines of the corrupted rifts if the corruption is disabled? Is there a pay off to putting time and resources into shrine improvements, if I know I’ll probably never want to enable that aspect of the game? I appreciate any help!
No hate from me. I just noticed the game is losing its Very Positive rating on Steam, with Recent Reviews being almost on Mixed now.
Based on what I read, most of the playerbase is not happy with this update. Do you guys think the devs will address this in a public post, or just hope for the best and keep rolling with this update?
Again, no personal opinion here - just something I noticed.
EDIT - everyone came running to defend corruption. Only one person answered my question, so thank you for that.
For everyone defending it and ignoring the issue, I think it's very telling that the reviews rated the most helpful are negative. This is what I meant when I said addressing the backslash.
I bred this gorgeous dun with white specks, bald face pattern and GREEN eyes! 😍

Hello friends
I want to start breeding my horses but I'm confused on how? I have not found an answer to it anywhere so I'm trying it here:
I found some nice Akhal-Teke mixes in the desert next to Sorga / Gobi Hoton. The three horses are now in the stable there. I see no option for breeding at this stable though. Am I blind? The only heart-icons on the map are in Tov / Örtöö-station (main camp). Or do I have to move my horses to Tov? If so, how do I do that? One by one? If this is the case then I need to tame more horses just for transfer? Or is there an option to take all of them with me or transfer them via stables?
Sorry for the confusion and many questions. I'm loving this game so far, hope this resolves easily. Thanks in advance!
Edit: Thanks for the fast replies! You guys answerd my question: One can only breed in Tov and I have to transfer the horses by riding back and forth between Tov and the stables.
I don't know how many breed cycles but something around 150-200 I bet....
I rly did not like the colours I got at the end but with some manipulation I at least got this topiano out of it I'm not mad at. I have 2/3 traits I rly like but got too impatient with randomisation to go for a better third one
I look forward to playing the game normally again now instead of running in circles
If there is already a post about this, feel free to tell me! I just don’t know where to go from here. I’m on a mission to get a max stat horse (or close to it)z I’ve found a few exceptional horses in the wild but kind of at a loss on how to combine them without just creating an average horse lol Any advice greatly appreciated! I understand it might take a lot of grinding.
And the horse merchant. As far as the quality of horses the merchant offers goes, is it worth getting a courier level higher than 6? I just reached 6 and he started offering all the breeds available in the game. But wasn’t sure if they progressively get better with rank or if 6 is when you fully unlock the best he will offer.
I think it would be really nice if we could customize our characters more. Maybe like choosing outfits, hairstyle, etc. Of course our character would be a Mongolian girl to fit the world but I would like to at least pick her fit and hair.
Dont have much to say but I really wanted to show him off. I've been breeding nothing but purebred Ferghana's and in doing so ive been locked into Dun coloration, I decided to take a big swing and breed it out in my Breton mixes for the discord breeding contest and ugh! He's just so stinking cute!!
After many real life days and countless foals I have a beautiful max stats Ferghana mare
