An Arquitens light cruiser for the midi scale venator

no stickers or printed pieces in Studio unfortunately but I did make an alternate TFA version

Minfigures in use: mandalorain and grogu plo koon, cobb vanth, CAD bane, tusken Raider, udggar thug, a boba fett head with a obi Wan torso and legs and a rodian. I used mando Speeder set and cobb abntj Speeder set. I made the cloth piece myself

Here is my take on the Venator Midi!

I designed this in between the release of the official Acclamator Midi (75404) and the official Venator Midi (75441), so I drew some inspiration from those models.  Also several of the many others posted on Rebrickable that I built.

This is scaled perfectly to the 75404, where the official model is still a little small.  This model is very sturdy, with the exception of the command spires and smaller details.  I built this many times over with real parts during prototyping.  

The model has a 16l axle with full length technic bricks as a backbone.  The upper superstructure plates are connected securely with the #7 axle and pin connector (4450), and the lower with hinge bricks.   You could replace the trans-light blue tiles with grey (to make it more like the official midi sets, or modify the exterior color scheme to your liking as well.  I played around with that a lot and think I found a good balance.   I really like how it turned out. 

I was playing around with some spare parts and managed to piece together this little duel diorama. Thinking of possibly doing micro dioramas from all the duels in the saga. Hope you guys like it!

Freestyle by my son 9yo

With the new Lego Upscaled Darth Vader coming out next month, I was really hoping they'd make him look more like the classic Vader Minifig from the early 2000's... But that inspired me to make a classic Boba and Jango. Jango's armor had to be white because there were several grey pieces that Lego doesn't produce to make it work otherwise.

Moc designed by me, based on the fateful battle between Anakin and Obi-wan during revenge of the sith.

The moc is based around a tensegrity structure, in which rope or chain is used to make the structure appear to float. This is possible due to the fact all the chains are in tension and thus cannot collapse (unless an even greater evil than the sith appears... my lovely cat Biscuit)

Lightsaber blades are from a set of 60 knockoffs i got off Amazon years ago unfortunately no longer sold.

As with most of my mocs the 16x16 baseplate is from a mosaic set.

Made this new MOC still have tò expand It and make a crashed tiè bomber but i really love It also made this mos eisly moc that look really cool
