ALT Build of the Justifier

I was tired of the Justifier - a set I only bought because of the Omega minifig - sitting in my corner and taking up way too much space so I embarked on creating other Star Wars vehicles from this which naturally starts with the Millennium Falcon. Turned out pretty go and I will RL build it in the coming weeks.

Let me know what you think.

What do you do with the bulky Justifier (75323)?? Millennium Falcon it, of course!

Now this is Pod Racing

More work on my Tatooine display shelf. I've incorporated the official pod racing diorama into a mountain with tuskans.

Tried to work it i to an angle that will meet I to the backside of my town scene near the front of the shelf. Took some trial, but got something solid and relatively smooth transition.

Not sure if I should put the home stead between Freetown and the ridge or a MOC sandcrawler?

Welcome to Freetown... Mr Bane

As part of my Tatooine display shelf, I have now added a condensed version of Freetown featuring the standoff between Cobb and Cad.

I mostly used parts from the extra MBS Cantina that I had and while ibreused a few sections of walls and roof, the rest was fully customized to work and fit on the desired molded baseplate.

It looks pretty good on its own and as part of the shelf it brings the back corner to life. Still a long way to go to finish this shelf, but this is a truly enjoyable process.

Tatooine Diorama Starting to take shape

I've had this shelf sitting stagnant for a while and have finally started putting some of the pieces in place.

Modified Boba's Palace to give it more scale and the recent Sarlac pit to hang off the front of the shelf. This gives it a bit more depth without lifting the barge so high that it will block what I put in behind it (podrace and a Cobb vanth scene.

Endor diorama shelf has been started.

Working on my Endor shelf which currently has the Ewok village (10236), Battle of Endor (8938) and the Speeder chase Diorama (75353) along with some smaller sets and a MOC of the landing pad that will be redone.

It obviously needed more trees and I wanted them in the scale of the Village trees so I built 3 if my own using almost all the brown parts I had on had and tone of 1x6 plates, 1x3 bricks and 1⅔ Snot that I'd been scavenging from my local PAB walls for months.

I think they need a few tweaks, especially the foliage, and we'll do some smaller ones too for some forest density but overall I'm pretty impressed with them.

With the new Minas Tirith set revealed it begs the question: Is this the best part of the Siege of Minas Tirith / Battle of the Pelennor Fields? --- "That still only counts as 1!"

The Oliphaunt take down, while Legolas is counting his kill total and then sliding down the trunk in epic fashion while it crashes to the ground, only to have Gimli downplay the feat with the classic quote!

I recreated this scene with a side build of Gimli to stand next to Legolas' dismount of the falling Oliphaunt.
