All twelve Foundation Elements.

It wasn't easy. While the Kryptonite, One Ring, Treasure Chest, Inanimate Carbon Rod, Staff of Elements, Flux Capacitor, Cake, Palantir and Gold Token were easy to build and obtain, two of them don't look accurate to the ones seen in the game, those being the P.K.E. Meter and the Diamond Scarab and one didn't even have an actual Lego mold those being the Ruby Slippers. I searched both Lego.com and BrickLink to see if the mold for the Ruby Slippers was an actual Lego mold, but I couldn't find anything meaning that the Slippers mold was only made for in-game cutscenes. I had to impervise and build look alike slippers. The P.K.E. Meter wasn't in any Ghostbusters Lego sets so I had to build one out of scratch and the Scarab only came in the color black/dark grey. Also the candle on the Cake is inaccurate to the one seen in Lego Dimensions.

After building both the Cake and Palantir and showing them in my previous posts, I decided to buy and build the rest of the Foundation Elements. Any thoughts? I'm also building minikit-like Foundation Elements for some of my favorite franchises and IPs (as seen in some of my previous posts)

Main Story: D Rank

VERY mediocre story, alot of the same themes throughout. Doctor Who seemed to be in nearly every level (big fan of Dr.Who) but it felt unnecessary.. Most of the levels here feel sorta shallow and stale. I did enjoy myself but was more looking forward to the adventure packs..

It wasnt bad but it wasnt amazing.. Not sure what could be different but it served its purpose for a Dimension Shift type game but yeah I couldnt wait for this main campaign to end.

The Simpsons Level Pack: S Rank

Starting off strong. Honestly the fact this whole Level Pack is a really strong episode of the simpsons.. they really leaned into it with this one, it made me so excited for the rest of these packs. What a fun start to my journey. Might just be First Addon flutters but I would play this again.

Back to the Future Level Pack: B Rank

What a letdown.. i mean.. it was fun and im a huge BTTF fan but theres SO much to work with and this Level just begun and ended SO fast. Focusing on the first Movie and just the big scenes was really upsetting. Would've loved more cut scenes, more interactivity and just more substance.

Portal Level Pack: S Rank

Okay here we go. I have only ever played Portal once.. the campaign for Dimensions made me dread this Level Pack but I was thoroughly surprised. This was amazing. Using the Portal gun in lego? Genius. Good puzzles, funny moments, great boss. Aced it.

Doctor Who Level Pack: S Rank

Big fan of Doctor Who and they did everything right here.. going back and forth to the future and past was so good! They actually took a risk here and added so much lore from the show into this Pack and it made it so much better than I thought itd be. Just wanted more.

Ghostbusters Level Pack: A Rank

This was Fun. Simply put. Think of luigis mansion in lego form and you've got this level Pack, alot of funny jokes, a decent sized Level, great direction with this. I loved it. Only fault id give it is I wanted even more!

Midway Arcade Level Pack: C Rank

Man.. i wanted to love this but it felt so rushed.

Get the bronze trophy for a bunch of machines and you're done. The only reason its not a D is because i loved the Rampage cameo at the end and the whole arcade machine inclusion. That's it though. Would've preferred more Midway representation and more actual lego Level stuff as opposed to just playing these retro Midway games.

Adventure Time Level Pack: A Rank

Fantastic. They really ramped this up. I had a chuckle at some of the moments. I love the sword Variants and the Jake car, the Beemo machines are great too. More of this please! This was so fun. I gave it an S cause it was a 2 parter. We love a good length Pack! Got me to start Adventure Time again!

Ghostbusters (2016) Level Pack: C Rank

Oh man.. where do I begin.. look.. i dont hate Ghostbusters 2016 (dont get me wrong its not great) but that had no impact on my decision for this Pack..  6 WHOLE LEVELS.. the same repetitive grind, the insanely boring characters, it loses all the charm of the original ghostbusters Pack..  direction felt lost. I wish I could have a fast forward button for this. The only reason this isnt 1 Rank lower is because some of these bosses were fun and the ending was cute. That's about it though. A Scooby Doo Level Pack would've been a great replacement.

I legit had this as D Rank but I changed my mind when I got to the later levels of this. There's some interesting features in this tbh but yeah overall its not gonna budge from C Rank.

Sonic and Eggman Cameo cool af and Iceman cool i guess but why? Lol

Mission Impossible Level Pack: B Rank

This was a good one. Did it drag on too long? Sure.. but it actually got me wanting to watch Mission Impossible. Fun Pack, alot of espionage and gadgets, love the drone! Simple and to the point. Wasnt incredible but it was fun. Especially the Cloning people thing where you transform into anyone.p

Fantastic Beasts Level Pack: D Rank

Again.. another pack that overstayed its welcome. Here's the funny part though.. i love the wizarding world..  harry potter and fantastic beasts is right up my diagon alley. But why not just do Harry Potter? This was 6 levels of pure hell. I wish I could delete this from my memory. Worse than Ghostbusters 2016 somehow.

Sonic Level Pack: S Rank

OH HELL YEAH! MORE OF THIS PLEASE!

this was amazing. And im not even a huge fan of Sonic! My favourite Sonic game is Adventure 2 Battle for NGC. and honestly this just has such a charm to it. Good job on this one. The eggman jokes never got old either.. Chef's kiss.

The LEGO Batman Movie Level Pack: A Rank

Loved this, just typical batman nonsense.. alot of humor and alot of action. The batwing is fun to use and the whole addon as a whole was good fun. It was a long Pack but honestly it didnt matter cause it stayed fun.

Goonies Level Pack: B Rank

I guess it was okay, I love the Goonies but they could have really done a different franchise.. just felt pointless. Sloth saved this pack from being a C Rank. I did enjoy it dont get me wrong but yeah stuck at B.

A funny glitch that happened while doing a puzzle in the Portal 2 world and caused the character to be leaned depending which side you went.

Context: As I removed the Batman figure from the toy pad, He was still on the screen, Has this happened to you before?

Found this glitch that shows Unikitty‘s entire sprite sheet I’m pretty sure this only works with the Eagle Interceptor vehicle but if you’ve seen it please let me know on. I play on a PS5 with the PS4 version

Just started with all this CemU stuff and it’s a bit confusing, I’m having an issue where Marty is red and green and there are massive slowdowns for all the games I play on my computer so that’s annoying, but other than that it’s been going good so far! I beat the first level and the Toy Pad hasn’t had any problems, and the emulator stuff was fairly easy to set up! I’m having fun with Lego Dimensions on the computer,

This is my custom Toypad Emulator, called EmuToLife. Everything is completely open-source, free to use, and available on Github

It's built on a Raspberry Pi Pico 2W (~$7!). It has been tested and supports retail Xbox 360s as well as PS3/PS4/Wii U (and obviously CEMU/RPCS3). With this project, you have a few options:

1. Cheapest option: Purchase a Pi Pico 2W, plug it into a computer, and drag/drop a file.
2. "Best" experience: Make/purchase a custom board which lets you view the actual toypad LEDs, on a physical device

From there, you can plug it in to your PC (or console), let it connect to your WiFi, and you get access to a completely emulated toypad!

For those who don't, legotoypad is a desktop windows overlay app for cemu that let's choose any character/vehicule without using the built in toypad.

Legotoypad kills the friction of having to alt tab to choose bin files entirely making the experience of playing lego dimensions on pc more immersive and genuinely playable.

Setup is easy just run lego toypad app and open it by pressing the back button of your xinput controller (xbox or third party xinput supported controllers), alternatively, you can change the shortcut button to anything you want via the app.

Extract and Run the cemu fork (you can load your saves fairly easy since this cemu build is just version 2.6 but with Tcp network listener builtin)

This bug is happening with the characters faces. Anyone know why? I installed the update on WiiU Dowloader, and a DLC (Dont know if its related)

I FINALLY got all the packs working on Lego Dimensions for xbox 360!! After like months! I got all the level packs and stuff working! Wooooooooo!!!!

Also if anyone has any questions cuz theyre struggling with it too I remember most of what I did so I can help probably!

Decided to make a few characters from Lego dimensions and one of them was Gamer kid, who honestly Looks pretty accurate in exception of the torso lol.

Spent all day yesterday going through the rest of the Dimensions stuff - got (most) of them rebuilt completely

Man it's been ages since i last played... can't play too much more considering i missed some of the packs and can't 100% the Year 2 stuff

Some had only minor pieces missing, had to completely rebuild some like the Ninjago ones because i couldn't remember how they had been built... some parts are missing...some tags got mixed up

Had the misfortune of a few of the Brown parts for the Fantastic Beasts Portal and the Legolas Arrow side build break on me.. i forgot how brittle some part were back then - mildly annoying, tbh

Left with some parts so dunno if those were from alt builds or extra pieces - didn't recognize them offhand since other sets didn't seem to be missing any parts when i spent hours going through and double checking every. single. Toy Tag.

Though for some reason some of the Toy Tags weren't working or recognized in the middle section for saving..,.. since majority of tags were recognized, so i don't think it's a portal issue? And that one was a replacement portal at some point, so i don't think it got damaged or worn out...

Well, doesn't matter since i'll be getting the Xbox One Portal and game at....some point. i don;t know when

Bit perplexing, i admit regardless tbh....

Ended up rebuilding some of the Year 1 Vehicles/gadgets just because i felt like it

But that's more to add to the list to replace, possibly overall on top of my original list...

But nice to have the rest that i could rebuilt and intact to the best of my ability...
