Bringing alc into dorm

How bad of an idea is this? I’m gonna be a first year so idrk how move in works, will I be fine if it’s js in my bags? Are gryphons gonna be checking my bags in any way? Once it’s in my dorm, is there any significant risk if I js keep it in a bag?

Any classes that actively need folders, notebooks, and writing utensils?

Incoming freshmen! I wasn't sure if most of the classes here have moved to online only and I currently already have a box of school supplies that I've stocked up like 11 years ago so I was curious if I should bring a few folders and notebooks over. Also, I've removed that learning unlimited thing so I was curious on how many textbooks and softwares freshmen actually use and when do we go buy them. (Computer Engineering undeclared major but my schedule currently follows the recommended schedule for computer engineers!)

Lehigh Surrounding area (south bethlehem)

hi! i’m attending lehigh university in the fall as a freshman, and i’ve seen a few posts here as well as heard from others that the area around campus/south Bethlehem is considered a “rough” area? i don’t notice that when i was visiting, granted i stayed by the historic street for most of my time, but since my dorm is off campus (abt a 10 minute walk) i wanted to get an honest opinion on the area around it? (im from oakland, and it gets a pretty bad rep as well, so if i could get a scale from like oakland to martha’s vineyard or something i’d appreciate it 😭)

Current Greek Life culture?

curious abt how much of the student body is involved in greek life and also how much it feels like? Is it incredibly overwhelming? And will you not able to have a social life if you are not involved?

Also are there paid welcome week events for Lehigh incoming freshman?

Introvert at Lehigh

Hi guys, I move in at Lehigh next week, and I was wondering what life is like there for introverts. I tend to make friends easily but I don’t like to drink/party/rush or be in large groups or anything like that. Am I still gonna be able to make friends?

Demonstrated Interest/ ED

I’m planning to apply to Lehigh next year and I know they like demonstrated interest, how do I show that. I want to apply engineering or accounting, but I’m stuck between doing ed for Lehigh or Boston college

Stats: upcoming junior with a unweighted current gpa of 3.83, weighted current of 4.33 and cumulative of 4.28. I’m vp of finance for DECA, and in future engineers. This year I plan to volunteer a lot and join community service corp (and possibly robotics club) + get a job.

Should I ED to Northeastern?

Northeastern has always been my dream school, but now I am doubting ED1 because many people say it is not worth the cost. My other top schools are Umass Amherst and Lehigh (possibly- touring lehigh soon to get a better idea). My stats aren’t good enough to get into Northeastern EA or RD, so i’m conflicted if I should still ED, or ED to Lehigh, or go to Umass. I want to do mechanical engineering, and any advice would be great
