46 fucks in this fucked up rhyme

I always believed that the line "If I say fuck 2 more times" was about the next two times he said "fuck", that being "46 fucks in this fucked-up rhyme".

That means I believed the song had a total of 48 fucks, as there are two more after this verse.

Today I found out the "2 more times" referenced the 2 times AFTER THE VERSE!

I don't know what's worse: them saying "46 fucks" and it being 48 in total, or the 2 more times not referring to the next 2 times.

I Had No Idea...

How truly good Limp Bizkit is. Im 31 and have known about them forever but very limited. Nookie, Break Stuff, My Way, Take a Look Around and maybe a few others. I am a metal head and in general listen to a ton of music but almost like TOOL, who I love, it was the public perception and whatever memes associated with them that, unfortunately embarrassing to admit, kept me from diving in. Ive recently been SPAMMING Chocolate Starfish and Results May Vary and good lord im so impressed. Big ups to Limp they make really great music.

The Limp Bizkit hate confuses me

I’m not THAT ignorant, I know that

  1. Fred Durst was a delinquent back then (with all the riots and assault charges)
  2. Some of their songs (No Sex… Hot Dog) are kinda shit, I mean I actually enjoyed both songs listed but they are objectively shit when it comes to writing

But like, Durst has chilled out over the years, and it seems like he’s redeemed himself with him apologizing for the bullshit he did back then (homophobic stuff), and the writing doesn’t have to be good for a song to be enjoyable, at least I don’t think it has to be, I enjoy a good stupid song every now and then. But yeah, I feel like most of the hate today is unjustified, I’m not gonna lie, the hate was justified back then, but now it just seems forced. Also their music is not even bad.

Does anybody else feel like modern Limp Bizkit (2021 - Present) is horrible?

I have been a fan for quite a while, i ADORE 3DBY$ and most of their old tracks (including TUT), i would even say that RMV wasnt AS BAD as people say it was.

But everything they've been releasing lately was just a miss for me, especially Still Sucks. Still sucks singlehandedly almost made me stop being a fan of LB and it's easily one of the worst albums i have ever listened to, the only decent song on that album for me is Pill Popper and it's like a 6/10 at most. It's a combination of everything wrong that could have happened with this band and i wish it never existed, including their new singles and Fred's collaborations which arent much better. I just wish they stuck to the style of 3DBY$, SO and CSAHFW (ESPECIALLY TUT). I miss when they actually used to be Nu-Metal instead of some kind of soulless mess that lost itself trying to prove something it's not. I hate how Fred portrays himself, and how he keeps singing with that awful forced voice. He already proved that he can do raw vocals, so I don't exactly know why he doesn't take advantage of it. The other members are alright at the moment, they just don't sound that good with the new style that LB has been pursuing.

Fred’s Vocals

Hi guys :) I wanted to know if anyone could point me to some songs that show off Fred’s actual singing voice rather than screaming/rapping. I’ve heard a lot of RMV already but are there any songs post-RMV that feature his voice in this way? ^_^

eta: other than BBE i’ve heard it before

What's the rarest LB item you own? Mine would have to be tne 4-track sampler for NOS or the demo from 1996
