This moron goes to Italy and all she can think and talk about is how skinny she’s staying. Literally ED brain.
AI
Lol I teach writing at a local college (so I've seen a looooot of AI slop), and this is such a classic fuck up: she put some old women's magazine article about "Why French Women are Thin and Eat Whatever They Want" into Chat GPT and asked it to paraphrase it so she could create her little Canva slides, but was too lazy to actually read the out put, hence all the references to "the article." What article Liv??
Livs Minions
Has anyone noticed a lot of Livs minions don’t post about her as much? Like that one girl who was sooooo skinny I forget her name, I use to see people post about her too but I haven’t seen much.
Are they waking up too ?
My thoughts as someone who used to run an Ana tumblr account and website - why Liv posts so much
Hi everyone, I am 23, but 3 years ago I used to run an anorexic page on tumblr. I used to post RELENTLESSLY because I needed the validation and attention so badly to fuel my eating disorder.
When my account got taken down, I lost so much motivation to starve, which is why I went to the trouble of starting a website to redirect tumblr traffic to for when my second, third, and fourth (and so on) accounts got banned by tumblr.
I needed the attention - negative and positive, to keep going. I am certain that is why Liv posts so frequently. Like yeah it’s her job and she’s trying to attract a larger audience, but also, you need to keep your mind fixated on your appearance and thinness AT ALL TIMES otherwise you can so easily slip and realise there is a life beyond how thin you are and how little you can eat.
You need to maintain the delusion and get others to endorse it - that a thin body and restriction is your peak. It’s so fucking sad that she lives like this, and watching her is so weird as someone who used to have a very similar business going. There are so many parallels and I feel like I can predict her thought processes with many of her posts.
armchair psychology
Alright fellow snarkers - where in the DSM does liv schmidt belong?
My take is that she is neurodivergent or on the spectrum with co-morbid OCD/anorexia. She’s described as being very socially awkward, rigid, and hyperfixated. I think part of her eating disorder is that she has sensory issues and strong aversions to certain foods.
ED largely instilled by her parents, who signed her up for a personal trainer so she wouldn’t gain weight after a sports injury in high school. Rather than encouraging her to focus on recovery. Given her age they probably paid for her cosmetic surgeries too.
She was in a sorority where she looked the part but didn’t fit in with her sisters and self-isolated. The ED is a competitive “gotcha” to them - the thinner she gets the more superior she is to the girls who rejected her or made her jealous. Her skinni society is a group of vulnerable girls who listen to her advice which boosts her self-esteem.
She’s not just “pro-thinness” but actively unkind and a cyberbully to overweight people. Lacks empathy to others and has a self-righteous worldview. Seems to want to punish women who feel comfortable in their own skin or who don’t diet. Has some sort of savior complex given that she dry DMs women about weight loss and believes she’s being sincerely helpful.
Her ex-boyfriend comes across as having a gym-bro ED to me. Both were into alt-right “wellness” and RFK nutritional pseudoscience. She thinks being thin is enough to keep a man and allegedly didn’t date in college or high school. Doesn’t appear to have many sincere female friends and supported Andrew Tate/Clavicular. Very pick-me with internalized misogyny. Feels as long as she’s the center of the male gaze and thinner than peers she is “winning” but doesn’t have a strong sense of self worth outside of that.
Obvious body dysmorphia and lack of self-awareness with how much she edits and face tunes her photos. Insecure that she’s “too short” to be a model which is clearly her dream and would make her feel “worthy”. Holds herself to supermodel body image standards and is never happy with herself.
