I’m trying my best in rigging….

Seriously, my mouth rig is acceptable, right?

I've been thinking about this ever since I'm experimenting with Live2d.

Mouth rigging is the hardest part to do right. Maybe after creating artmesh manually I realized it helps a lot, but I think I need some more practice.

This is true to the whole Live2d, but due to the prices, I try to do it by myself anyway...

I’m doing a free version compatible model for the practice + I drew it

(I’m reposting the pic so sorry for the reddit watermark.

Looking for L2D Rigging/Art

If interested please hear me out.

I’m still very new to this

It’s been over a year since I last reached out.
And I have had a 3d model made…but now looking for a live 2D model.

Not trying to get too crazy, but here are the details.

-Head Ange XYZ (Head side to side, up down, and rotate)
-Eye Open and Close (Blinking)
-Brow XY, Brow Angle, Brow Form (fully expressive eyebrows) do pony’s have eyebrows???
-Mouth Open/Close
-Mouth (3 basic expressions: Neutral, Smiling, Frowning)
Body XYZ & Breathing
Body Physics, Hair Physics, and Clothing Physics

-Additionally-

Forward facing if possible either bust size from the chest up, or, full body with the ability to zoom in and out to show the whole avatar.

Head tracking with mouth and eyes.

full body/chest up, would look exactly like the reference, with these additions.

Glowing red eye with a static base low glow, and the ability to toggle a brighter glow with a keypress (since he’s a terminator robot.

Moveable guns with the ability to shoot purple plasma rifle lasers.

Here is a reference for the laser sounds.

As I said , I don’t know al the specifics for commissions but have been looking at others work for a while.

Thank you for your time.

Few days ago, I showed the very right model art. Left one is old and I scraped it after my brother said it looked like a bug/alien. I tried fixing proportions as seen in the middle. Does it still look off?

Finally finished rigging this Live2D model! What do you think about the movement?

A while ago I shared the progress of this Live2D rig, and now it's finally finished!

I worked on making the movement feel smooth and expressive while keeping the character's personality alive through the animations.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Which part of the rigging do you notice the most?

Is it possible to rig for vbridger without lips?

I've tried to rig as much of my model as possible before working on the mouth, but unfortunately I can stall no more. I am wanting a detailed, vbridger compatible mouth, but I'm not sure if it's possible with my art.
It has no "lips" or areas to mask off for the top and bottom of the mouth the layers labeled lips are actually more just lip lines. My initial instinct was to just deform the mouth open and closed, but from every tutorial I've found, that doesn't seem to be something vbridger likes to work with. Am I wrong? Am I able to work with the layers I have without big masking areas?

What took these chunks to come out of my art?

I’m working on rigging my first model with no prior experience. I promise I do my best to look through the Live2D manuals and YouTube tutorials to sort through questions myself, but I can’t figure this one out :(

I’ve gone through every deformer and every parameter associated with these parts of my model. I’ve made sure keyframes were all correct, removed all glue, and reset all of the layers to original.  Nothing has restored the art to its original form.

Anything else I should be checking, or is my only option to erase all the rigging I’ve done on these features and import some layers from the original unedited .psd?

Thank you so much!

Question about concept art when commissioning!

Hey I am just wondering if I have a good idea of what I want specifically but am really bad at art, if someone I commission wants to see a concept draw up or character sheet would something done like below work or is it too rough? When it comes to how they execute the eyes or clothes I'm not too picky about how the materials look just as long as it looks nice and cute and is the same basic idea but with the hair even though I am no good at knowing how they would do shading or cut it I would like it to be along the lines of the idea just with more skill.

I am highkey embarressed but it wouldn't make sense to ask without giving an example of what im working with YwY

I know it's really sloppy and not specific and changes are totally fine with adjustments but I'm just worried about talking back and forth but getting picky about length or something and wasting someone's time because understandably if I take up more time it'll likely cost more which I really don't have a flexible budget but I've never commissioned before so I want to be sure I do everything smoothly as possible but searching up how vtubers commission, so many will get professional character sheets so I dont really know how things would go if it was just my own rough drawing for an artist&rigger commission? If someone could give me an example of a character sheet that isnt professionally made that worked for them and write some info about the process I would so totally appreciate it lots <3

Best socials for Live2D riggers?

Which social networks are better for Live2D riggers? Which social networks are mostly used by riggers to promote their work? I'm new to this, but I have enough content to get started thanks to my experience on a very local social network. Please advise me on which social networks to start with and how to grow my audience as a rigger.

Is there a way to mirror to the other side with different objects?

Hi!! This is my first time ever rigging anything, and I kinda need this done on wednesday for a project for my studies so I'm praying someone can help me with this- also my first post on reddit, and English isn't my first language so pls be nice TwT

I'm keeping this model pretty simple due to the time crunch. I just finished doing the Angle X to -30 on the ears, whiskers and face, but realised I have no idea how to mirror so it is the same for +30. I also couldn't really find a tutorial. Is there a way to do this or will I have to do it manually?

Why do general-purpose models reduce the fundamental demand for the customization market?

What confuses me is that highly customized VTS models often have very large file sizes. If that's the case, why do people prefer using these generalized, feature-rich models for streaming instead of commissioning a model tailored specifically to their own needs—one that provides only the functions they actually use and avoids unnecessary features that consume system resources?
