Why does Lucy care about this random sinner? Like yes he is powerful but to Lucifer...he is like a red ant? Yeah they bite and all but it's still an ant.
I can understand that Alastor hates the idea of a man being more powerful than him and he can't really do anything to him, while he obviously has more favor from Charlie than she has to him.
I can understand the Alastor side of the dynamic even though I still think Alastor is far better with Vox or even Charlie or even Rosie if we want to do weird character dynamics.
But for Lucifer...one he already is in a relationship so, that's probably already a massive roadblock but 2 he just lacks a good dynamic with Alastor. Their bickering has grown on me but they still lack anything like ... ANYTHING for these two to really care about each other?

the deal was that Rosie would make Alastor the strongest sinner, Rosie did manage to hold up that end of the deal, that being, making Alastor the strongest sinner
what the deal failed to specify was the little minor detail of Rosie's OBLIGATION to ensure Alastor was the strongest sinner, it never said anything of the sort
Deals in the hellaverse are very unforgiving when it comes to loopholes, in the same episode Alastor's deal with Vox was broken because Vox "laid hands" on Charlie, in a literal sense, without hurting her
like how Alastor never said Vox had to hurt Charlie, Rosie never said Alastor would ALWAYS be the strongest sinner
if I were Rosie, I would've been watching Alastor's dumbass plan almost work, and even break the chain thing, only to show up and chain Alastor up again and say "sike dumbass you really thought I wouldn't think you'd try to make yourself weaker?"
on a related note: how did Alastor beat the STRONGEST sinner when he was no longer the strongest? yeah I call bs
