Mine is stuck in 2024 😭

Unsure where to even ask this but I need to get some ear protection for concerts and festivals. My biggest concern is I love to sing along. I’ve had Loops and all I can hear is myself singing and then I end up taking them out, is this a universal thing for all earplugs?

In my search to find reasonably priced tickets, I ventured to facebook groups and found a couple people claiming to have multiple passes (10+) for sale that were “admins” of a group. I messaged one of them because the post had a ton of interactions (like 1k likes) and was offered a 4-day pass for $450. I asked for payment via Paypal but was told they only use Zelle or Chime because the admin in question, who I’m messaging, is a neutral third party.

Is there any way for me to be sure this is not a scam?

hi friends, i will be visiting chicago this summer for my first lollapalooza! i do plan on taking the cta to lolla everyday, i was curious if the cta typically runs late/take longer during lolla? should i plan more travel time getting to the festival? i’ve just started to plan my trip so any input would be appreciated!

Every year Lollapalooza announces late night shows featuring artists playing the festival, and they happen after the fest has ended at venues around the city. If you want to enhance your Lolla weekend experience, then definitely add one or two late shows! Based on previous years, the late night lineup should be announced soon.

So who are you hoping shows up for late shows this year?!!!

Mine biggest wishes would be

Empire of the Sun- Need to see them at night and need to see them indoors.

Viagra Boys- The Lorde conflict is brutal, so I’m hoping for a late show so I can watch most of Lorde and then see some Viagra Boys at the fest too.

Worship- I’ve missed them at Coachella and now Lolla. Please play Radius so I can get rid of this conflict and finally see them.

Hey there! This is my first festival, and am planning to attend with two of my friends. We bought three 4 day GA tickets, and are number 1566***. We have been talking about possibly making other plans with fear of not getting off waitlist, and i’m kind of disappointed so I am turning here for either a reality check or some hope. Do you think we’ll get off waitlist, or should i just prepare to accept that we won’t be going? Thank you!

It’s my first time going to lolla. What is the typical dress code? Is it similar to Coachella or completely different? I want to dress up but not look out of place in comparison to the majority.

Hey all, there is a new Android app called CrowdHop that lets nearby phones relay short messages over Bluetooth instead of mobile signal.

Messages can hop between nearby phones and travel up to 1km with enough nearby users.

Mainly aimed at festivals, clubs and campsites where networks get overloaded.

If anyone wants to try it, it’s on Google Play.

I have been trying to buy 4 day resale tickets through ticketmaster. I’m checking a few times a day. Both times I’ve seen reasonable priced tickets (<$550) they are gone before I can check out.

I’m wondering if I was just unlucky or if there are scalper bots picking these tickets up to resell them again. For people who have listed tickets for resale at reasonable prices, are you seeing them get snapped up immediately every time?

Any tips on how far or where to stay for lolla?

I’ve been to Chicago before and am familiar with the train system but where is a good (affordable-ish) place to stay!?

What kinda set do you think they will do?

I was initially excited to see the Chainsmokers, because I love songs like closer and don’t let me down and other pop hits. But I looked up some of their live shows and they aren’t singing. They are fully EDM DJs playing more hardstyle EDM without other elements. I’m happy all music is there for whoever enjoys it but I’m not an EDM fan. If they go EDM, I’d much rather see Tate. If they go pop hits, I’d rather see them.

Hi, I'm taking my 16yo nephew to Lolla and we may want to catch an aftershow or two if possible. Does anyone know of aftershows tend to be in 21+ or 18+ only venues?

The last music festival I went to in Chicago (Pitchfork), it seemed like aftershows were all in bars/clubs (The Empty Bottle and Cabaret Metro are the ones I remember), but I also saw smaller artists than are playing at Lolla.

Any insight on this from previous years? I don't drink at all so I'm not concerned if I'm in an all ages section or something with no access to the bar.
