Next season's captain

Got to be Alexia surely? Asllani much as we love her won't be starting the season. Kumagai doesn't cut it for me as a leader, she's too defensive and uncommunicative. Give La Reina the LCL captain's armband that she's so used to!

Order online

Have anyone here had issues ordering (online). , i placed an order a month ago and haven’t received any updates, i contacted them via email and even through social media and still nothing. Is it really this complicated to order from the team? I also pre order mapi’s jersey and is making me want to cancel or do a chargeback

Who do you think will be in our First XI

Who do you think will be in Eder's first 11 at the start of the season?

We have an incredibly strong squad on paper so some of the choices are very tough for me.

I have gone with:

GK - Mary Earps. Given her profile, she will start over Lete.

RB - has to be Jana. Janni will cover to give Jana a bit of a break.

LB - Lucia. She is a future star, and will form a great trio on the left side with Alexia and Mapi.

LCB - Mapi. No other choice. Very excited to see her play.

RCB - lots of options here. I have gone with Saki given her experience, but Isa and Linus are more than capable of taking this position. Will depend on fitness/form I think.

DM - Lucia and Jana will go forward a lot so we need a holding DM. Alanna here for me.

LCM - Alexia. Full stop, basically.

RCM - torn between DVDD and Geyoro. I have gone with Daan on balance. She had a bit more going last season.

RW - Diani. Not sure about here fitness as she seemed to train separately from the rest of the squad (at least from the videos), but if fit she will start.

LW - Freya. I just want her to play as much as possible, even though she is probably better suited to be on the right side.

ST - Nicole. Same as Diani, not sure about her fitness but she will start if fit. Izzy will cover.

London City media day (Thu 6 August 2026)

Yesterday was LCL's media day - so I'm expecting lots of articles/videos over the next few days.

The BBC have an episode of the Womens Football Weekly podcast dedicated to an interview with Alexia to be released shortly.

If anyone spots any content, perhaps post to this thread?
