[23/05/26] Outdoor Reading Session @ Granary Square, Kings Cross 2PM

[23/05/26] Outdoor Reading Session @ Granary Square, Kings Cross 2PM

Hello all!

Link to event: https://luma.com/l3mutonk?tk=rfcOiV

I'll be going to this Reading Rave at Granary Square, Kings Cross this Saturday from 2PM and thought I'd share here for folks who might also be interested.

It's a free outdoor reading event. We have an hour of reading together by the canal steps and then socialize. Over a 1000 people have signed up so it should be a good atmosphere.

If sign ups are closed, still worth showing up. With free events like this, a good chunk of people who register (50%-70%) don't actually come on the day.

[20/05/26] Primrose hill/regents park at 9pm

Hi!

I've just had a fairly long week, and I have a little bottle of wine I would like to drink tonight(its not even a fancy bottle or anything). Drinking alone feels awfully depressing, and the club on a wednesday night is not really my scene. Would anyone be interested in going to Primrose hill/Regent's park around 9pm, and just chat and have a drink? Or bring a book along and we don't even have to talk. or play some nice music and chill? I'm open to most chill stuff and am very easy to talk to. Please DM.

[20/05/2026] The piano bar @ Soho

I'm gonna check out this place at around 7pm tonight. Any one fancy joining?

I'm an amateur piano player so it would be good to meet anyone else who enjoys piano, or just listening to a bit of live jazz.

I'm not a big drinker so will probably just stick to soft drinks.

I'm 28M

[20/06/2026] Bookclub

Monthly BookClub

Hi guys,

I (25 F) want to make an IRL book club that doesn't take 20 pounds just to sit in a circle, l'm a lawyer based in SE1. I'll be hosting this on my buildings rooftop (cool indoor sitting area - great view).

It'll be completely free (people can bring their own snacks or drinks or whatever they want for themselves)

The main idea is: each month we'll pick a book through a poll and then meet on the weekend at the end of the month to discuss the book, rate it. I'll curate questions for us to answer about the book (prompts for thoughts)

It can be a great way to meet new people - I will however do my best to create a safe space - everyone is welcome. So please only ask to join if you're a kind, tolerant and overall decent person to be around.

[24/05/26] Hampstead Heath Walk&Talk - 11.30am meet

After a really good turnout last week, I’m hosting another walk & talk at Hampstead Heath this Sunday.

We’ve got a small group going already, so if you were on the fence before, you won’t be turning up to just me :)

Plan is to meet at Hampstead Heath Overground Station at 11:30am on Sunday 24th May, go for a relaxed walk, and then probably sit down for a bit with some board games as well.

If you’re up for getting out, meeting some new people, and just having a chilled morning, feel free to come along — everyone’s welcome.

I hope to see some new faces on Sunday!

[24/05/2026] Coastal Sunny Hike - Ramsgate to Margate

So yeah, basically a Gate-to-Gate... and with that terrible joke safely out of the way, details of Sunday's hike. We'll be walking around the coast starting from Ramsgate, passing a number of beaches, ice cream kiosks, and hopefully with a gentle breeze keeping us cool as Sunday's set to be warm and sunny! Anyone fancying a dip can also bring their swimsuit. The total distance is almost 9.5 miles, and should take us around 4 hours to complete. Drinks and food at a seaside kiosk or restaurant at the end of the hike.

Meeting time: 8:45 am on Sunday

Meeting place: St. Pancras International Station (we'll be leaving from Platform 12, so we can meet somewhere in the main area close to the platform)

Arrival at Ramsgate for those who wish to join us there: 10 am

Feel bring to bring along friends if you'd like to join, and a packed lunch should you prefer.

If you have any questions, do DM me, and if you're interested, please let me know so that I sort out logistics.

Finally - 34M here, professional working in the City, easygoing and I like exploring various parts of the UK!

[20/05/26] Solo visitor tomorrow – Southbank walk, coffee & pints? [22F]

Hey! I'm in London for just one day tomorrow and honestly just want to see it properly through a local's eye, not a guidebook

 Wednesday 20th May 2026, 11am – 4:30pm**,** Starting at Southbank / Borough Market

The vibe:

  • Wander along the Southbank
  • Grab a coffee somewhere nice
  • End up at a pub that you'd actually recommend to a friend, not a stranger on TripAdvisor

Not looking for a tour guide at all, just good conversation and good company! Love meeting people from all different backgrounds and walks of life, whether you're a born-and-bred Londoner or just someone who fancies a spontaneous Wednesday out. Everyone is welcome, come say hi!! 😊

I study psychology so I'm legally obligated to be a good listener, but fair warning: I have been known to accidentally turn a coffee into a three-hour conversation lol

[23/05/26] - Anyone else going to the ZAYN concert at the O2 on Saturday and wanna get food & drinks beforehand?🎤🎤🎤

Hey! I'm 28F, going solo to the ZAYN concert this coming Saturday and I've realised I hardly spend any time at the O2 - whenever I have a concert I just go there for the concert and leave straight after, I never explore the building

Is anyone else going solo or in a small group and want to meet up before to grab some food? I'm thinking maybeee:

🩷 Cabana (I loveee this place, Brazilian food)

🩷 The Observatory (British pub vibes)

🩷 Gordon Ramsay Street Burger (always down for a burger)

It'd be nice to just connect with some fellow fans before enjoying the concert solo or whatever ✨🪩

Also I'm not too fussed about the support act beforehand - so I feel like meeting for dinner at 6:30pm would work and we look to head in to the arena around 8:30pm latest before he's on around 9pm?

Xx

[06/06/2026] Cross cultural conversation night

Would anyone be interested in a small food/drinks/chat evening on 6 June?

I’ve been in London for 4 years and still find it hard to meet people outside the usual friend groups, so I’m trying to organise a very casual evening with a few people.

The rough idea is: everyone brings a small snack, drink, object or story connected to where they’re from / what feels like home, and we just chat.

Probably 10–15 people max, around 7–9:30pm, in a residential common room(W3). Free, BYOB.

No agenda really, just hoping to meet some nice people who are curious about different cultures and proper conversations beyond small talk.

If that sounds like your thing, feel free to comment or DM me :)
