Going to a convention

I'm going to a pretty big gaming convention next week and I'm wondering what Loops I should use - Engage or Experience? There will be stalls and vendors, but obviously a lot of noise too, which isn't great, as I struggle with migraines.

Switch 2 Iridescent buying from Canada?

I understand I should have bitten the bullet sooner. I’ve always had a crush on the color but upon checking, they are now sold out! I still get emails it’s available on the US website, can anyone confirm? Is it possible for me to buy it from the US site and just take the L and pay for shipping? has anyone done this?

Thank you for your help 💕

Worth getting the experiences?

I already have the engages but I find that when I talk to people sometimes I still can't hear them, it makes it really hard to wear them all day because I can't engage with people properly (yes I see the irony). I already have the quiets but I have a similar problem with them too.

I'm wondering whether the experiences would be better for reducing the noise around me (I have sound sensitivity and it's normally sharp sounds, like coffee machines, or people pronoucing the letter S in the hard way some people do, and hard bass as well as multiple voices at once that cause me problems. Basically the world in general is too loud) for during the day. I used the try on and found the difference to be what I was looking for but I was wondering if any one here had any experience.

EDIT: I only really struggle to hear when people talk quieter than normal, because I'm a student if someone talks to me during a class I can struggle to understand them clearly.

Can somebody show me a photo of the Lavender iridescent Switch 2?

Hi! Question is in the title. I’d really appreciate a photo *while wearing the earplugs*, can’t decide between the silver ones and the iridescent lavender ones…

xPleasing Cases

Was anybody else tempted to buy both pairs just to swap cases? (I didn’t, yay for self control!)

Is it weird/how weird is it to ask to trade *just* cases with someone 😅

Please suggest me an earplug for work.

I work in a busy restaurant setting. It is loud with conversation and music and I’m also in an open kitchen facing customers behind a counter. Some days when I’m having a hard day, the noises become overwhelming to me. I still need to be able to hear customers close to me and also coworkers while there is loud music and conversation happening in a boisterous environment. Is there a specific loop earplug that is best suited for this situation? Thank you!

Loop Quiet 2 material change?

I bought a pair of Loop Quiet 2 about 2 years ago and would wear them for sleeping. They went missing about 6 months ago. I just bought a new pair and the new pair feel lighter and stiffer, and actually uncomfortably hard when putting them in my ear. They feel completely different to me. Have they changed the production of the Quiet 2 in the last 2 years?

Are there any Loop earplugs that don’t make your own voice sound muffled or echoey while talking?

Hi, I have a pair of classic Loop earplugs. However, when I speak, my voice echoes in my head, so I either end up staying silent or whispering. This isn't ideal when I'm in a crowded place and want to talk to the person next to me... I've read that there are Loops designed to 'help you hear voices better,' but looking at the Amazon reviews, it doesn't seem like they actually solve this echoing issue. I'm afraid there might not be a fix for it (for physical reasons: if the ear canal is sealed by a plug, it's normal for there to be an echo).

Anyone else having issues getting your order to ship?

On the11th I got a email from them saying this

"A quick but important update on your recent order. There's been a delay getting it moving through the carrier network, and we know how frustrating it is to be waiting on a package without seeing updates. We want to be transparent about what's going on and what to expect from here.

We recently moved to a new US carrier so we can offer you more control over how your packages arrive (delivery instructions, drop-off preferences, and more flexibility overall). As part of the transition, our Texas sorting facility has been running about 3 to 3.5 days behind on origin scans, which is why your tracking has gone quiet.

What happens next with your order:

- By Tuesday at the latest, your package will receive its origin scan and start moving through the carrier network.

- Your existing tracking link will pick up the new updates automatically. No need to look anywhere else.

- From there, delivery will continue as normal and your package will arrive at your doorstep within the carrier's usual timeframe.

- Your order isn't lost, isn't stuck, and doesn't need to be re-shipped. It's accounted for and on its way."

I ordered the loop switch 2 iridescent lavender. Tracking still says "Awaiting package from Shipping Bros.

Your order has been created. We will provide an estimated delivery date once the package has been received."

Is this seriously normal? This is my first time ordering any Loop Earplugs and so far its been a kinda bad experience. My order was placed May 9th

How small is the xs tip

One of my ear canals is very narrow/ small. An ENT once described it as ‘collapsed’, I'm dubious about whether the xs will be small enough - I’ve never found any in ear headphones that will fit it. Has anyone else with similar ears had success? Also just generally interested in how people find the sizing generally.

Is it better to choose just one pair of switches, or get several separate pairs for different uses?

I work in an environment where I need as much noise cancellation as possible so I can focus. However, I also go to a lot of concerts, so I would like the option to use the lowest possible level of noise reduction when needed.

The Switch model seems to offer a good 26 dB setting, but its lowest setting is only 20 dB. I’m also wondering whether the sound quality is equally good at each reduction level. For example, even setting the volume question aside, would the Experience model, which is fixed at 17 dB, provide a clearer sound than the 20 dB setting on the Switch model?

Thank you for any advice : )))

For Movie Theatres

There are way too many options to choose from honestly.

I love love love to go to the movies. I go at least once a week. I love horror movies, but have a hard time with them in the theatres due to the noise associated with jump scares and I end up plugging my ears throughout most scary movies.

A friend of mine gifted me a pair of experience 2's. Would these be good for the movies?

Anyone else with a similar sensory issue at the movies have a pair that work well for this particular issue?

Are Switch 2 Iridescent officially gone forever ?

Hello!

I am new to this whole Loop thing. They got recommended for my ADHD brain, so I began a quest to buy my fist pair today 🙌🏼

I really wanted Switch 2s, and naturally fell for the iridescent color. However, on Loop's official website, they are sold out. Nowhere to be found on Amazon.

Does that mean that this limited edition is completely gone and I should turn towards another colour, or will they stock them back up and announce it when they are officially gone ?

Thank you so much peeps! 🌞

Graduation Migraine

Yesterday I graduated with my MBA. My body’s lovely present to me was a migraine with nausea.
I honestly believe it was due to the absolute relief of crossing the stage and all the built up tension/ anxiety leaving my body triggered it all.

Anywho, I wanted to give a shout out to my loop switch 2 earplugs because I wouldn’t have survived the noise of my family being around and their celebrating. I felt bad that I wasn’t able to celebrate my accomplishment with them but they all understood.

All this to say, loop earplugs are a good investment 😂
This is not a paid sponsorship kind of thing btw lol. But if you see this loop… sponsor me 😂😂😂

Target exclusive Experience 2 Titanium Holographic (lav iridescent’s cousin)

First off- GORGEOUS. I only realized they were target exclusive by someone’s post on this sub. I had eyed them for some time thinking this was an old collab (vaguely remember this colorway of loop, am I wrong?) but snatched them up when I realized they are likely limited editions. Anyway they really seem like these would have launched aside lavender iridescent. Similar in tone with purple and they have that subtle sparkle. In all honestly they look like the lavender iridescent case with the flash on. They’re a bit darker without it and have that bubble effect. But nonetheless beautiful.

Which is best?

Hi! First time poster!

So I currently do not own any Loops and I have no idea what to get! There are so many options and I find it a bit overwhelming. I am a SPED paraprofessional and as you may know, we don't make much so this is definitely an investment for me.

I am very noise sensitive, but still need to hear general chat/convo I just want to full out the noise. I have smaller ears , and I've struggled with different brands of ear plugs with being able to hear myself too much when having them in.

What are your experiences with what works best??

Also I see that there are drops (are they worth waiting for?) and I saw an archive sale as well with switch kinetic? Are those good?

Any insight is appreciated!

Do you recommend using earplugs to concerts?

Hey there :) I‘ll go to my first ever concert (The Weeknd & Playboi Carti) this summer and have a question regarding earplugs for concerts, since I have never been to a concert before.

I‘m 20 years old, so my ears are still young and I don‘t know how common it is for people my age to wear earplugs. However, I am a rather noise sensitive person, so I wondered if I should buy some earplugs or if the noise level is also fine without.

I‘m going to this concert in Munich in the Allianz Arena and I‘ll sit in the 3rd floor (nosebleeds, I guess?) on the side, for anyone wondering.

Also I saw a lot of people recommending the Loop Experience 2 earplugs and I wondered if you guys could tell me if they’re actually worth it or not :)

Loop Pleasing recycled

I saw several Loop fans including myself saying that the Loop Pleasing looks really familiar. They remind me of Equinox Flamingo Flux, Sublime Denim Dream, and Sublime Sugar Plum.

The Sublime range was the most recent seasonal release and not that popular, meaning it was around for a very long time after being discontinued. With the Equinox release Flamingo Flux experience is much easier to find for sale than the other colours, and until the recent archive drop even the engage Flamingo Flux was much easier to find. The blue is slightly reminiscent of the cobalt blue due to the metallic look but it’s very dull like the Denim. These do not feel like new colours. It looks like recycling old designs that they may have left over stock of. And we already know Loop doesn’t release all of their old extra stock in sales. It looks like they added a gloss coating to the Sublime experiences and switched the ear tips over like the Engage Kids range.

I’m not saying that this release is bad, I actually think the glossy finish makes the Sublime colours look a lot nicer. The problem is this release once again is just a repeat of something they’ve done before relatively recently. It’s once again nothing new. Why would people who already knew about Loop when they did these seasonal releases buy the new collab when they can just swap their ear tips over for free? I love these products but their lack of new colour or pattern options has been a big problem for years.

I’ve included some pictures and used real life photos where I could find them. Also I hope this flair is okay, there is no general or discussion flair so this is the closest.
