How to stop ear itchiness and pain from sleep buds?

These buds r great and the only thing getting me through the night. I sleep 12+ hours (illness) and have been waking up every few hours with ear itchiness and pain. I'm pretty sure I have the right size buds as they feel good.

Any advice appreciated.

Using sleep buds with a baby?

Hello! I have misophonia and used to use things at night to block out my husband’s loud asf breathing and snoring. Since I had a baby I’m too afraid to use anything incase I can’t hear her crying. So I’ve had to kick my husband out of the room because I can’t cope lol. My question is, have anyone used the sleep buds with a baby and could you still hear them crying/fussing? Thanks in advance :)

MISOPHONIA (help)

ISSUE:

Cant stand any sounds, such as Fork clinking, breathing, slurping, smacking, gum chewing, eating, the whole shebang. Also sitting in audiences and silent rooms suck because small noises are heightened.

LOOKING FOR:

earbuds i can keep in for all day that will block out all the bad sounds, but so I can still hear people talking when I want to.

The fairies returned my loops!

No one at home understands how excited I am! My irridcsent loops have been missing for -months- literal ages. I finally gave up looking a while ago. Something else I haven't done in months? Gone hiking.

Guess what I found in my zip pocket? Yea Boi!

My husband says "thats what you get for not checking your pockets when we do laundry" 🥲 so, go check your pockets i guess.

Life hack: Loops + Open Shokz

I forgot my noise-cancelling headphones at home but had my Shokz on me. Put the Loops in on the setting for concerts (picks up bass, etc.) and my word it’s amazing. My coworker who sits in front of me has a perpetually runny nose and never blows it or takes meds. 🫠

Having trouble with the Quiet 2

Someone please help me understand, maybe I’m doing something wrong. So I got my Quiet 2 earlier this week and honestly, I like them a lot! They help drown out the noise at night (or in general when I need it. However, I did try sleeping with them as many people suggested they’re great for it. Problem is, they are a bit uncomfortable (not enough for me to not continue to try) and I feel they keep falling out even though they aren’t. Do I just need a bigger size for the plugs in my ears? I currently wear a S because the M felt too big. Or should I go bigger? Or should I consider the Dream plugs?

HELP

The Fourth of July is coming up here in America and I have SPD that causes noise sensitivity. I went to the mall with friends and forgot to take them out of my pocket, the next day when doing laundry, I found them in the dryer. I put them through the washer and dryer :((((. I have no idea if they’re still safe to use or if they’ll work. Does anyone have any suggestions??

How can I know if my Engage 2's are working?

Hi all! I just got my Engage 2's today (so im sure im just experiencing an adjustment, lol) and I'm wondering how you know if they're in right/working how they should be? I bought them for family gatherings (It gets noisy and I get overstimulated easily) where I have a young nephew and seven siblings :,). Right now im only noticing slight muffling and for $44 i'm slightly disappointed. Do I need to be more patient and see them in action, or am I being unrealistic here?

Secondhand iridescent switch 2?

I missed the last drop by a day, and apparently they just confirmed that was the last one. I’m ND and very picky about colour, and i’d rather not wait for the next archive sale for the mere chance that they bring it back in limited quantities.

I’m in the US, so if anyone has a spare pair or is not too attached to theirs, i’d really appreciate a message :)
thanks!

I guess no more iridescent Switch 2’s 😔

Was looking for some information on a potential restock, so i went to their posts on the iridescent restock from May 6th. Found these comments; I was waiting for a restock since I still saw them on the site, but I guess this confirms it?

Amazing Find

I was literally so lucky to find a brand new never worn pair of the Loop Switch 2 Iridescent Lavender on Mercari, after they completely sold out on the Loop website…I could almost cry 🥹

I apologize in advance if this is question has been addressed before. I'm overwhelmed with the choices. Which pair would be best to drown out my husband's snoring?

3D print case

My husband made me this 3D printed case for my Loops Engage 2. I love it, they fit perfectly and my mutes have their own space too!

My tips on how to fix the issue of pain when using Dream in small ears

This won’t apply to everyone, but I purchased the dream loops about 2 weeks ago and was delighted with the noise reduction. I have upstairs neighbors who have an insane morning and night time routine that consists of an hour of stomping above my bedroom, banging, dropping, flushing etc etc. so I purchased the loops. About 3 days into wearing them my ears were extremely sore, and had actually formed blisters in one ear. I have TINY ears so I was using the xs tips.

I’ve managed to completely remedy this issue by switching to the s silicon tips, which sounds counterintuitive given my tiny ears. But I found that the issue for me was that the xs tips allows them to go too far into my ear which then case the outer loop part to irritate the cartilage just outside of my ear canal which was causing the pain at night. By switching to the larger tips the tips could no longer go so far into my ear, but still sealed.

TLDR: if you have tiny ears and you’re having issues with pain from the xs tips, it might be a case of you pushing them too far into your ear and you should actually switch up a size and not force the tips in so far. See image showing how far they should be inserted. I was inserting them much further when using the smaller tips. Hope this helps someone.

EDIT: the picture is from loops own website / emails.

Are loops just earplugs with an interesting shape?

Right, so I’m expecting that to be a bit of a rage bait title.

I’m genuinely interested in Loops but trying to understand them more.

My wife had a pair of quiets delivered yesterday and they look to me to be just a silicone ear tip on a plastic body that’s a non-conventional shape.

What makes them different to the reusable earplugs I have for machine work please?

I tried them in for a minute and they feel just like my reusable earplugs.

If they work, that’s great. I’m not trying to put anyone down for liking them, just trying to understand them more and don’t want to be spending out on something that I essentially already have.
