Match Thread: LCFC at Union Omaha (USL Cup)
The Prinx Tires USL Cup continues and we’re going to Nebraska! I do love seeing Josh Jones back on the start sheet.
How’s about we get back on the winning track, eh?

Why hasn’t Racing Louisville clicked with the city yet?
I don’t get it.
Racing is Kentucky’s only pro team. They have national team players, legit superstar in Emma Sears, and one of the best stadiums in the country.
Meanwhile LouCity plays second division soccer and the Louisville Kings aren’t HQ’d here, barely even play here, both feel like they get more energy and attention… definitely more fans in the stands.
Why?
Is it winning? NWSL in general? The atmosphere? People just not connecting with the club?
Feels like Louisville should care way more about this team.
We bounce back from a rough first half and come out with a fistful of goals and the win. Probably should have been 8-0, but I don’t particularly dislike Omaha, so this is okay.
Except THAT guy. You know the one. Hope Jansen is okay.
On to the next!
My first Lou city game! Against Wilmington Hammerheads 3-0 win for us.
Release the hounds! Or send them back to Pittsburgh crying. It’s Pups at the Pitch Night, give the good bois and girls a scratch and cheer our boys to the win!!
LET’S GO CITY!
Well, that was dire. Worse than losing, we just didn’t look ourselves. Sloppy in possession, not converting our chances, not going head to head with our opponent.
That is no bueno, and I hope we don’t slip further into this malaise.
On to the next.
Maybe we don't do pups at the pitch against the only dog-themed team? Idk. Is it injuries, or have we lost our edge here?
Hello! I’ll be moving to the Louisville area at the end of the month and am interested in getting back into attending matches! I loved going in college, but I haven’t really followed soccer much in the last few years because of grad school.
I’m looking for something to do and a community to be a part of, and soccer always felt really welcoming in that way. Does anyone have recommendations for getting involved in the LouCity community beyond just attending matches?
Also, what are the best seats among the lower-price tiers, and are season tickets worth it?
Finding community and friends as an adult can be hard sometimes, so I’m trying to put myself out there a bit. I do genuinely enjoy soccer, even if I’m a little out of the loop these days!
Hopefully they kick on a bit more than so far 23 combined senior goals in both careers isn’t great
