Insane local hair dresser

I never leave reviews, but I have never been treated like this at a business before. I went to Genesis hair salon, and my hair dresser was Andrea Spencer. I want to deinfluence anyone from having the same experience I did today.

I went in for my appointment for a simple haircut and while there were a slew of other issues, I can overlook those. I cannot overlook her public outburst in the salon. I am not exaggerating. She was attempting to finish up the appointment when I had pointed out I wanted my hair shorter (I had done numerous times) when she gave me a scary look and began screaming at me that she can "only take so much" and "I dont know what im talking about or how to do hair", she ripped the cover off me and with it pulled my hair yelling at me that im "fired", never to call her again and much more. I was shaking and began leaving as I am non confrontational and she followed me out demanding I pay her. I was afraid of any escalation so I agreed and cried waiting for my ride. I have never in my life faced an outburst by any hair stylist. I now have an incomplete haircut as she refused to cut it to my desired length as well. I had a bad feeling about her and dreaded my appointment all week! I guess I wasnt being paranoid. Please never make the mistake of booking her....

Rent deposit deduction

Our landlord just sent us an email about the itemized deductions 31 days after we moved out. He is taking out $810 out of $950 deposit for a bunch of cleaning fee. He is selling the unit and we rented for 3 years.

Floor under the fridge full grease as well as the wall. Labor $30). This we might be okay as we never thought of pulling the fridge out to clean behind or under.

Hardwood floor show many scratch and needs to be detailed and cleaned: Labor & materials $40) The scratches are in the hallway And entrance which are high traffic areas.

Carpet rooms:  Assesment - Both carpet have sign that it was vaccumed, however needs to be proffesionallty cleaned. Cost for 2 rooms $60 (waived if professionally cleaned)

Bathtub and walls on both bathrooms needed to be deep cleaned due to soap. Labor and materials $30  We cleaned the tubs a the night before moving out.

Food disposal not working - Broken and need to be replaced. Labor and Food Disposal $250) we used and cleaned it on our moved out day, as our kid was having lunch and we needed to do dishes. Also was working on inspection then suddenly its broken?

Walls: Assesment - Throughout the whole property thare are signs of covering holes with wall paste and painting the repair. Due to the fact that the paint do not match the wall color, it is required to paint the whole wall/rooms. Labor and materials $400

some of the small patches that we tried to fix sure. But some of the pictures he send us are patches already there when moving in.

I have never experienced this as someone who tries to take care of our apt as much as I could and have always gotten my deposit back in full amount or atleast 85%.

HIGHLANDS = RACIST AND HOMOPHOBIC

The big money donors of the Highlands hate Blacks, Latinos, and Gays! This move will shut down every gay bar in the Highlands, the only safe space gays have culturally in the city! This is a blatant attack, overtly disrespectful during PRIDE MONTH. Get on the phone NOW and call BEN RENO-WEBER and tell him to tell his voters to reverse course!

Time to let the city know how important your servers, bartenders and service industry employees are to the city! The USBG will fight this!

Looking for hairstylist for short hair

Hello! Looking to cut my current grown out bixie back into a pixie and hoping for some recommendations.

Not concerned about cost as much as finding someone who does feminine short hair well - piece-y, layered, petals, etc. Looking for someone who really listens and considers hair texture and face shape rather than just doing the same “short haircut” on everyone.

Thanks!

Lost Dog!!!

Lost him on friday morning while I was at work. Lost around S 37th and West Broadway. He's a bloodhound, beagle, coonhound mix. He is microchipped! He's a big sweetie pie and loves kids. Very friendly will come when called. We have been looking everywhere for him and want him home. He is neutered. He broke off of his lead friday and we have been worried sick. If you have seen him or have him, please reach out!

Does anyone recognize this car?

This 73 Camaro was last seen in the Louisville area. It was my dad’s first car that he regrettably sold. I am trying to find out if it even still exists these days. He knows it went to Kentucky after he sold it and I believe a car finding expert was able to come up with this photo taken of it about ten years ago.

Experiencing major World Cup FOMO after returning to Lou for my internship. Where is the high-energy crowd hiding?

Hey everyone! I just got back to Louisville to finish up the remainder of my summer internship after spending the weekend in Houston, where I got to experience the insane energy of the official Oranje Fanwalk and the EaDo FIFA Fan Fest. The passionate fan culture and massive community vibe out there was so exhilarating, and now that I'm back here, some serious post-visit blues and FOMO are setting in while the tournament is in full swing.
Obviously, I don't expect Louisville to completely mimic a massive, official FIFA host-city layout, but I really don’t want to watch the rest of these huge matches alone on my couch. Where are the absolute best, most passionate, and rowdiest spots in town to watch the games with a dedicated soccer crowd? I’m looking for those high-energy environments where people are actually chanting and living or dying by every shot, especially for the big prime-time matches this week.
