Tbh I want Aniya to win the $100K just to piss KC off 😭

I would be happy too if Trinity won either, but Aniya has been through hell half of the season
Let that girl leave the villa with the money and her freedom

I keep seeing people say, “Aniya didn't even know about the Casa comments yet, so what exactly was KC being called disrespectful for?"
Maybe I'm in the minority because I don't passively watch this show, but I think the answer is right there in the fire pit scene.
When KC walks in with Titi, Aniya is obviously devastated. But I don't actually think that's the moment that breaks her.
I think it's what he says next.
"This decision isn't for Aniya. This is for me."
He follows that by explaining that he'd spent so much time pouring into Aniya, even choosing her after she didn't choose him on Day 1, that he hadn't been allowing himself to fully experience the villa.
Notice Aniya's immediate response.
She doesn't argue that he shouldn't have chosen Titi.
She immediately starts listing all the times she chose him after Day 1.
To me, that's really telling.
I don't think she heard, “I need to start putting myself first."
I think she heard, “I've been the only one investing in this relationship."
Whether that's what KC intended or not, that's how it landed.
I actually don't think KC was trying to erase everything Aniya had done. I think he was trying to explain that he'd been prioritizing her feelings over his own and, because of that, never gave himself permission to fully explore other connections.
But intent and impact are two different things.
From Aniya's perspective, she'd
repeatedly chosen KC, reassured him, and considered his feelings when making her own decisions. So when he framed his Casa decision as finally choosing himself after all he'd poured into her, it probably felt like he was minimizing everything she'd invested in him.
That's why she immediately started defending the history of their relationship.
There was so much chaos at the fire pit that people forget KC actually did begin explaining himself before everyone started shouting. Ironically, I think his explanation made the moment even more painful because Aniya interpreted it as him rewriting the entire dynamic between them.
Mine is :
KC
Corbin
Sin
Zach
I’ve seen him brings this up multiple times now. Besides maybe at the recoupling between Trinity en Titi real quick before that was squashed. The girls never came for titi so why keep bringing that up

I'm convinced the people defending KC are the problem themselves
How do y'all watch the same episodes, ignore every bit of logic, every piece of proof, and still somehow end up on his side? It's actually baffling.
The mental gymnastics deserve an Olympic medal
One thing reality TV keeps proving is how much men can get away with. The standards are in hell. If half these guys were women, they'd be public enemy #1 by the next episode
That said... I gotta give this season credit. Compared to Huda Island's trauma session of a season
Saying how she needs to “terrorize Sincere back” or hopes she doesn’t choose to leave him because she won’t make it to the finals if she does and there’s 100k on the line…
Do people hear themselves?? Better yet, DO PEOPLE SEE THAT GIRL?? Folks talm bout the FiNaLs when she’s not gonna make it to the finals in one piece if she keeps being terrorized by that demon lying ass man. If these people actually liked her like they say they do they would not value “winning” over her wellbeing.
I would prefer Sincere be shamed into self-evicting but I also would not be mad if Melanie decides to. In fact, for those of you who are concerned about her chances of “winning”
Melanie self-evicting would actually be the best move not just for her mental health but also her image, and socialite career. She’ll be remembered, admired and respected for choosing herself and leaving with dignity & that would make her following explode, much like Trinity’s did after the Casa recoupling.
That’s the real “win” to me. Remember that people who don’t win their season often win in other ways, even more than the actual winners.
Can someone lmk if this makes sense???😭
These two in particular have disappointed the hell out of me. Blue calling Aniya verbally abusive (even though she just did Joe Budden’s show only weeks ago) and consistently talking about her hair, Jessie Woo joining in on the dogpile. Like ?????
Genuine question as we know the male viewership of love island hasn’t been this high before so i’m curious and just wanna ask if the male viewership has changed the vibes of the show
Not a damn chance
Maybe men need to not watch love island anymore? Going on TikTok is frying my brain seeing all these men defend KC, saying people are putting a black man down. Hellooo??? KC put a black woman down? This is about his blatant disrespect and lack of accountability. Are people watching this show? There’s no conversation to be had about whether or not KC disrespected Aniya. Even Insincere said KC was disrespectful, so why am I seeing a ton of black men and women defend KC? Am I missing something?
I don’t know how she’s gonna talk herself out of this (lmao she can’t). She better be ready for how the boys are gonna use her to defend everything they did/do lmao. They’re gonna play her clips like Sincere’s - one conversation with Caleb reassuring him, then pulling Corbin away to kiss him in secret.
And don’t get me started on how everyone’s been seeing how she steps on Jen’s toes with Gal.
Ok, please follow me here real quick. Weeks ago, I commented on here and said we have to intentionally and intently listen to what people on this show say, simply because what they are saying isn’t what they mean. The first example was Melanie saying she doesn’t like the term “girl’s girl”. I was called a pick me bird for saying Melanie loves women, but what she meant when she spoke was that your actions towards other women speaks louder than anything else. And so far this week we’ve seen this from her. She doesn’t insult or go after women for Sincere’s discretions.
The next case was Zach. I’ve said time and time again he’s playing a role. The same role men like Kendall, Ace, Aaron etc. played. So many people said he’s just honest and wants what’s best blah blah blah. Thinking critically, why is he so invested in other people’s relationships, why is he constantly attempting to love bomb Kayda, why is he constantly downplaying the terrible behavior of other men? The answer is right there: he’s just like them.
The people defending KC and Titi are the biggest culprits. Every woman has repeated to KC why his actions were unacceptable atleast once every pride since casa happened. The reason why I say this directly correlated to the literacy crisis, is part of literacy is the literally device called inference. Many people thought that Titi was defending Aniya during the movies because she likes her, no Titi did that to reinforce her place as KC’s woman.
I still remember people thinking Bea was a real friend to Melanie, while taking every opportunity to talk negatively about her behind her back, then leaving the villa and backtracking.
Literacy isn’t about classrooms. It’s about being able to understand what’s going on in media. This is a huge reason I don’t engage with KC fans in any discourse.
Just gonna leave this here. I also noticed that he works with people in isolation.
The last dumping was gabe…. Am i tripping or did they used to send someone home like every week? Why does this season feel so disjointed? It’s somehow both rushed and moving hella slow?????
what was the point of saying “all of yal told me youve never seen kc happier than when he was with me” to the men? it seemed like a roundabout way to flex rather than support aniya. i think shes a total pick me but what was her intended purpose in bringing this up?
I’m not American so I always visualised the phrase “chip on your shoulder” as having a crack in your ego (think of how a ceramic chips). Through repeated stressors and rejections, the chip eventually grows into a full crack and they use those jagged edges to attack and wound others. KC seems to have an inferiority complex that he thinks he can remedy with dominion over others. When Aniya said no to his bids for physical intimacy, she was protected by the fact that they are in a controlled environment. So, unable to dominate her in that way, he chose to humiliate her as a second resort. If he can make her doubt her desirability then he thinks she’ll be the one chasing. He can’t find the defining factor that’d would make him feel superior to her (because ultimately that’s what his ego is crying out for), so he starts to build resentment. Men like that come in hot, compliment the thing you’re insecure about, push you for intimacy, cajole and coerce and when that doesn’t work, start bragging about being pursued by other women and humiliates you by repeatedly not acknowledging you in public (even in front of friends). Because I come from a relatively good family (although not as good as Aniya’s), I had to be punished because my ex envied the imagined “ease” of my life. Insecure guys like KC feels like someone has to pay for what they’ve been through. Sometimes men are drawn to you because of what you embody, and the confidence they lack. And instead of learning how to be more self assured, they end up pulling you down without any remorse because the feel like they have to be the ones to teach you that life isn’t “sunshine and rainbows” and will also manufacture difficulties in the relationship to “ground you”. KC showing who he is in the villa is a huge W for Aniya because if they were on the outside, it’s likely he would’ve been working overtime to humble her.
"Explore" is getting worked to death like "test" did on one of the other seasons. Yes we get it you're ExPLoRiNg connections but I think its weird the way people are acting like its bad and inappropriate for some people to want to be in a solid couple and want commitment. The show is still love island right? And we are still supposed to be voting for the couple who seems most genuine and in "love". I understand its a game show and there's folks there to jump-start their careers but the actual premise is to find love and people there for that aren't doing something wrong, failing, or ruining the experience for others by seeking a relationship.
Seeing KC’s and Corbin’s reactions was something serious. Don’t get me wrong I’m on that with both of them, but I lowkey forgot how diabolical Sincere was moving in the beginning. Dude was sent straight from hell
