Just blew 2 accounts 1 day away from max payout.

This would of been my 2nd payout and my first 10k month and I ruined it all in 30 min. Im done with trading for good this time because this clearly isn’t for me. I worked so hard and put so much time to get this close just to blow it all. Im going to pick up another hobby and start going back to the gym because trading has now put me in debt and put so much stress on my life so Im done for good.

Almost blew my 50k funded on day 1

After working on a eval for almost 2 months i passed and i almost blew it after being funded on day 1. I thought I went over draw down so i purchased 2 25k flex evals. Looking to connect with others who may be in the same boat looking to get a payout. Currently have these balances but deleted the Tradesea app to get off of it. Happy trading ! Any advice would be appreciated

I found the secret to trading

Day 2 of my 25k eval and I cant make more than $600 to maintain the 50% consistency. Simple enough, right?

Wrong. I tried to lose money and accidentally became a trading god.

Shorted every spike — went in my favor. Bought every breakout waiting for the flush — kept ripping. Finally said forget it, shorted into a breakout... and caught the exact top. 40 point flush. Perfect entry.

I have never traded better in my life than when I was actively trying to lose.

Turns out the secret to the stock market is just not wanting to make money. Will report back once I figure out how to lose on purpose.

How much of position sizing do you use.?

As the title suggests, what is the position sizing.?

I only trade MGC! and sometimes MNQ!. My contract sizes are 1 micro at a single time, maximum 2 if I want to scale in.

My account size is 25k and I have seen people here making north of $700 per day consistently with only a few trades. I aim for $200 per day and that’s it! And hey, my SL ticks would be 60-80, with a RR of 1:1 or 1:2.

So, just wanted to know what’s the sizing that you’d use.?

Rookie mistake

Damn I did the most rookie mistake ever i had passed a second account and I forgot to switch over regular nq to mnq and I trade it three minis instead of three micros, and I blew by shit instantly, thank god, I didn't let my the mental affect my first account though

how many trades a day is too much?

this is how my funded journey is looking so far ever since i passed my first eval last week. i keep my stop loss small so i tend to trade a bit more than usual. should i chill a bit? just wanted your guys’ opinions since i only started trading not that long ago.

First payout

Finally after 3 months of failing I was able to get a max payout with 2 accounts. It was supposed to be a 10k payout but I’ll take it. Don’t give up guys!

Market Humbled Me. Then I fought back

Tuesday was a rough one. Took a hit of $3,711 in the London session and it wasn't a great feeling. But I stayed calm, stuck to the process and came back in the New York session to close the day at $4,090.

Days like this are why discipline matters more than emotions. The market will test you. It's how you respond that defines you.

NQ open - Easy midrange trade with imbalance

15 min open range

Saw a big imbalance at the NY vwap and a had a short bias for today.
Took the short trade to the low of the range.

Am I cooked?

Why is the consistency rate getting lower as i win and closer to zero (higher) as I lose? Is this fixable or should I reset?

u/SaugatRaiz — 3 days ago

Should I stop trading?

Need some insight I’m new to futures & Propfirms so I don’t have a complete understanding of the “consistency” rule I made $550 on the first day scalping….is it better to stop for the day? or do i have to lose money to maintain consistency?
