I will get Mait Cse allied branch and I am getting GLA cse
Gla is in Noida and my fees will be around 56k per year (if I maintain 8 cgpa) and mait have better name, reputation, far better crowd etc so what should I choose as avg salary is almost same

I'm about to go to second year and heres my IPU experience: You won't hate the college, or the course or the teachers. They're fine, you're gonna have to do a lot of self study and self-discovery and thats expexted. What isn't expected is the shit crowd here. Its absolute shit. I'm being very honest. You won't meet people who match your vibe at all. The kids here are very backwards. I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of 40 year old uncles and aunties. You'll feel like you study in a government office. People don't know how to speak basic english. So, what I'm tryng to say is, join the college, it isn't bad, but please don't expect a good crowd. This comprehension can be valid for colleges like bvcoe, bpit, msit, I don't know about the rest, but you can expect similar shit.

Main question is whether I can get time for myself, for actually building skills and training for placement. I've heard that there is no point in hoping for good on-campus placements. So I know for a fact that my only bet is off-campus placement, and that will require skills. So, whether I can get time for myself in building skills.
I just want a little bit of campus life, but I have heard that that doesn't matter much. Ultimately, what matters is the outcome. So, is the outcome really that good?
Now, considering my other options, it is definitely better than KIIT, Odisha, I think. And I am not sure about JIIT Noida, Sector 128. I think I won't be getting Sector 62 CS. But if I get Sector 62 IT (Information Technology) and Sector 128 Computer Science, should I consider them? Or should I consider other IPU colleges?

A counselor is claiming that he can get me a CSE seat at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), Delhi by paying a ₹5 lakh donation. He says the donation has to be paid in cash.
Has anyone here actually taken admission to MAIT through the management quota? Is a ₹5 lakh donation normal, or does this sound like a scam?
Also, is it safe to pay cash to a counselor instead of directly to the college? If anyone has firsthand experience with MAIT management quota admissions, please share your advice.
