She lived with her mother, Shamika Young, and three brothers at the D.C. General homeless shelter, Relisha was last seen with Kahlil Tatum, a janitor at the shelter. Despite being reported missing weeks later, the search for Relisha intensified when Tatum’s wife was found dead, and Tatum himself was discovered dead from an apparent suicide. Multiple theories have emerged, including human trafficking and systemic failures by child welfare services. Despite extensive investigations, Relisha remains missing.

From DNASolves.com: "On September 16, 2021, the Toronto Police Service was called to an area near 30 Carl Hall Road. A construction crew installing a fence found a human skull in thick brush near a new fence line. Police, under the supervision of the Office of the Chief Coroner, cut back the brush to reveal the skeletal remains of a person. A death investigation led by the Office of the Chief Coroner/Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and Toronto Police Service determined that the death was not suspicious.

An examination indicated that the unknown man had likely been deceased for several years prior to discovery. Attempts to identify the man through conventional investigative methods were unsuccessful."

In November 2022, investigators submitted evidence to Othram to extract DNA and develop a genetic profile. The results of the genetic profile suggested that the man was First Nations (Indigenous), with distant relatives across Ontario and the Great Lakes region. Initial genetic tests with relatives of other missing First Nations men did not produce a match.

"Finally, investigators determined that the man may be Willard Duval, who was last seen in May 2017 and reported missing in February 2018. After several months of collaboration between Toronto Police Service investigators and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service, medical imaging records confirmed that the John Doe is Willard Duval [His Doe Project page estimated his age range as 35-65, while the International Missing Persons wiki lists his age as 75, which could be either his age had he lived or his age at disappearance.]

Investigators located Duval’s niece and informed her of his death. Willard’s remains were buried with his brother on April 25, 2026."

Per CTV News, he is the 11th person identified under Project 31, an initiative launched by Toronto Police in 2022 to identify the 31 long-term cases of unidentified persons where DNA was readily available.

Rey Nolan Bingham was reported missing from Vista, California, on August 7, 2025. He was allegedly abducted by his mother, Renell Hill, who may also go by the name Bobbi Budz. A felony warrant for Parental Kidnapping was issued for the mother on January 9, 2026. Anyone with information is urged to contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).

Peter was born in 1991 and had two older half-siblings as well as a younger sister. He was last seen by his family on September 11, 1997, although he was not officially reported missing until 1998.

Initially, Peter's father claimed that he sent his son to live with a family friend in an unofficial adoption, but by 2000 his case was officially classified as a homicide. There was no indication that the alleged family friend Peter was given to even existed, and records show that Peter had been abused by his parents since he was an infant. According to his siblings, Peter had been forced to eat dog feces, was shot with a pellet gun, was locked inside the trunk of his family's car, and was regularly beaten and tied up.

By 2016, both of Peter's parents were charged with second-degree murder. It is believed that Peter developed a wound on his arm that became infected, and that he died of septicemia due to the injury going untreated. It is likely his parents never sought medical care because they knew they would be outed for abusing their son if they took him to a doctor.

Both of his parents plead guilty to manslaughter, his mother in 2016 and his father in 2017. His father confessed to attempting to cremate Peter's body and dumping his remains in

Phoenix Coldon disappeared on December 18, 2011, from Spanish Lake, Missouri, after leaving her home for a short errand in her black Chevy Blazer, which was later found abandoned in East St. Louis with her belongings inside. Her phone, bank, and social media activity ceased, and she has not been seen since, leaving her case unsolved with theories ranging from foul play, possibly related to human trafficking, to her running away to start a new life.

Escarleth and Alejandro Vasquez left the 7000 block of their home and never came back. Police are searching for them. Last known contact was around 1pm. Their whereabouts are unknown. Escarleth is described as 5-foot-2, weighing about 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and gray pants. Alejandro was last seen wearing all black.

Everyone of these people are unidentified Does in New Jersey and there are so many more cases with no pictures that deserve to be looked into as well. I hope someday all of these people get their names.

Cases In New Jersey

The disappearances of Terrance Williams (2004) and Felipe Santos (2003) are mysterious cases in Naples, Florida, where both men vanished after being last seen with the same Collier County Sheriff's Deputy, Steve Calkins, who claimed he let them go after traffic stops. Calkins was fired for inconsistencies but never charged, as no evidence proved wrongdoing, though he was found to be deceptive in an internal investigation. The cases gained national attention, with Tyler Perry offering a reward, and remain unsolved, though recent discoveries of human remains are being tested for DNA.

Six-year-old Michael and five-year-old Pamela Mayfield were last seen on January 10, 1985 in Houston, Texas. they were walking home from Betsy Ross Elementary School.

At the time they vanished, Pamela was kindergarten and Michael was repeating kindergarten because the school authorities thought that he had been too young when he started school.

Witnesses saw Michael and Pamela get inside of a green car with an unidentified man.

At the time of their disappearances, Michael and Pamela lived with their grandma (who was their primary caregiver), but they visited their parents on a semi-regular basis.

Four months after the kids went missing, a man called the Houston police to say that Michael and Pamela weren't kidnapped and they were living with their paternal grandmother in Los Angeles, California.

The Mayfield family do have relatives in Los Angeles, but they didn't have the kids with them. The caller hasn't been identified, but the man's voice sounded as if he was an elderly African-American man.

Authorities didn't find any evidence that the Mayfield kids were being abused by their relatives. They intially thought that they were abducted by a relative or family friend, but none of them were suspects. They believe that Michael and Pamela knew the person who abducted them because they knew not to to get into of a car with a stranger.

Shy'Kemmia "Shy Shy" Pate was 8 years old when she disappeared from her front porch in Unadilla, Georgia, on September 4, 1998. More than 27 years later, her family and law enforcement continue to seek answers in the cold case, which investigators believe involved someone familiar to the family.
