Is the Neo's screen size sufficient?
I'm thinking of buying it just for web browsing and leisure while on the couch with something playing in the background; the AI tells me I'll go blind with a 13-inch screen—what has your experience been like?

if I didn’t have a decent Windows desktop build, I’d look at nothing other than Mac Mini. my wife just bought a cheap Roku, or I’d have an Apple TV. the walled garden really does feel great.

Help me. Sister messed with a brand new school issued MacBook neo and it's Stuck in recovery mode. Can someone tell me how to get it out of recovery mode? I need to set it up again. I need to use it for school an I do not want issued with my school. If anyone can help, thank you!

Did anyone swap their iPad for a Neo?
I’m debating on selling my M4 cellular iPad Pro 13” and getting a Neo because the iPad is currently collecting dust, and while I do have a desktop, I need a laptop for school.
My partner has my old MBP that he’s using for his business stuff and I gave it to him before deciding I’d finally take the plunge to go back to school. I’m using a loaner laptop from the college but I think I should get a Neo (or maybe an Air) so I have a laptop. But on the other hand I keep thinking maybe I’ll use the iPad more again eventually.
Did any of you sell off your iPad and get the Neo to replace it? Or did you keep your iPad and get a Neo?

My 27-day-old MacBook Neo has a failed logic board — Apple is offering repair, but I want a replacement. What are my options?
My 27 day old Macbook neo got a motherboard issuee and apple is only offering motherboard replacement. I don't trust the device anymore to last me years. Is there any way I can get a device replacement?

Joined the Cool Club today!
Got my second hand, 512 gb Neo today. The color is so fun! I love it. It’s still under warranty. Snagged this for $575 so pretty reasonable. As someone who’s used the Air and still has one, I think this is excellent. The specs are different on paper but for my work, I feel absolutely no difference!
The Neo is a little heavier than the air but the size is so so so perfect! The keyboard is amazing. I tried typing in a dark area and the light from the screen was actually enough. I was a little hesitant about the color because I’m someone who opts for neutrals but I’m trying to be more fun with my tech plus the seller gave me a good deal so I couldn’t ignore. However, the color is amazing! It leans green inside the room but in the sun it’s changes color and that is SO COOL!!! The keyboard isn’t white but has a greenish, yellowish hue which is so beautiful. Can you tell I’m in love? lol.
My use cares is researching and writing papers. I am going to start with very basic coding very soon. I don’t watch movies and stuff on this coz I have my iPad for that which is a pro 13 inch. I do plan on using them together. Still testing out the battery but I’ve been at this device since 7 am and it’s only dropped 50%! I’ve been using it constantly for zoom calls and stuff. The camera is good enough to tell people it’s me. lol.
If you’re on edge about this laptop or the color, I’d say just get it. You’ll LOVE it! Thinking of divorcing my husband and marrying this one. lol. Just kidding.

I was wondering if the Mac book Neo was any good at 360 edits on the insta 360 app? I’m currently editing on a M1 iPad Air and looking for a possible change is the Neo or Air better or is the Neo good enough for these edits🤷?

Trackpad clicks in the middle and top can be a little bit...crunchy?
When I do a click towards the middle or top of the trackpad, there's a little bit of give at first before I do my full click. This makes the full click feel odd, because I can feel that give before the full click. It makes the click feel 'crunchy'/stepped - not smooth. Towards the bottom of the trackpad, I don't feel this.
Has anyone else experienced this? I don't have other Neo's to test it against lol

I joined you guys!
I got it three days ago, I really like it and it’s been great for what I wanted to do, it preforms very well with them.
Now that I have it I can say that the reviews of people saying it isn’t good may have either been following the crowd or overworking the thing.
Thank you guys who commented on my other post, I really appreciate your input there. :)
I got it in indigo so it could match my wallpaper ideas.
