Hi Neo community (Neonity?)
I’am currently before buying, and I’am not a trackpad kind of user. Can you recommend for me a wireless or a wired mouse what is best with Neo? Unfortunetly Apple’s mouse is not an option for me because I don’t like the ergonomy.
I have a realme charger which is 18 watt, can I charge my macbook neo with it or it will effect my battery?
yesterday i have zoom call with 4 tabs on chrome, perplexity app, and about 20 tab on safari.
the tabs contain yt videos, articles, google sheet. its laggy lol.. im using golden gate developer beta though.
i just wish it could do more haha but its cheap so yeah..
I want to buy neo but i am not sure whether it will be worth it or should i buy another brand

I was always a windows user, had an old ideapad gaming 3 which was dying after long time. Was low on budget and i took macbook neo. I will try to use it to the fullest!
Im new to apple devices and when I bought my macbook neo and the guy at store (Vijay Sales) he helped my like fill in the formalities i only knew i was giving a a email and phone number to my apple id i did not i was creating a password i was told it is just a password then he made fill 2 to 3 more password then he made me fill one password and then that was not working so some other employee turned off my laptop and told me enter the password for the lock screen by time this i had entered several passwords and I had forgotten the lock screen password and then the guy further said if I don't remember apple id password then the laptop for which I paid rupees 70000 and bought apple care for another 13000 is useless please help me out.

Has anyone else noticed performance differences between MacBook Neo colors? I recently replaced my damaged silver Neo with a new citrus model, and despite them having identical specs and both running macOS 27, the citrus version feels noticeably faster. Is there any technical reason for this, or could it be an issue with my previous unit?

I’ve added my finger print but everytime I turn on, it asks for my password. Why is it not getting unlocked with my fingerprint

I now own my first macbook. A neo 512 gig (going to use it as replacement for a chromebook 🤮). I have installed the thermal pad like some people recommended and it really helps. I haven't tested it with stress tests or whatever, but I notice games which where first unplayable ( like cities skylines ) being completely fine. So it works.
I have heard that some people have concerns for the battery. I would like to know if at this point anyone has had any problems with it. And for the people who think it is a bad idea, what kinda issues are according to you possible. Would is just be accelerated degradation ( if so, how much ) or am I looking at a dangerous problem ( like the battery blowing up ).

Please tell me some shortcuts, specially since I will keep my windows computer too for work.
As someone who hasn’t used a computer almost since high school (10+ years ago) and someone who has only ever used windows, can someone walk me through some of the basics ? I am trying to create a photo book online for one of my children, all my photos have synced from iCloud onto my computer, now I’m trying to upload photos onto the vistaprint editor and they can’t seem to be accessed from my library. Is there something I’m doing wrong or is macOS just that much different from windows ? Do I need to download them into an album onto the drive somehow ? I’m feeling a little silly, I just want to make a nice photo book for my kids birthday.
My first Neo, which I only used for three days, got scratched by my cat, and the screen was damaged. Since I really loved the Neo, I decided to get a new one today, and this time I went with the citrus color
I’ve been using my MacBook Pro from 2014, but it’s starting to be unable to keep up with simple tasks. It was top of the line at the time in 2014. I’ve been looking at the MacBook Neo to replace it, just wondering if I’ll be happy with the transition performance wise.
For reference, I mostly use my laptop for relatively simple CAD for 3d printing and general internet browsing.
Hello, I recently bought my MacBook Neo 8/256 (Indigo) on June 22, 2026. Recently, I've been noticing the 3 pin 30W USB C to C charger gets pretty warm (as in prettyyy) But it's never wayyy too uncomfortable to hold or cause burns, sure it is uncomfortable. I'm wondering if my charger is a counterfeit because I live in a country where there are no legitimate Apple stores (Pakistan) and you have to buy from a Third party/authorized reseller. I've done around 9 cycles on this charger and I'm wondering if anyone has had the same experience because I'm really scared if it damaged my battery throughout that in any way. I've checked the serial number located inside the prongs and it matches up in System Information. As well as the manufacturer is labeled as Apple Inc. However, I'm still not convinced because nowadays there are some high quality counterfeit products out there nowadays. Please, someone confirm it for me or give me any ways to confirm this charger, Because the shop won't even claim warranty for it as it's serial number matches up. Thanks!
