I'm currently building and painting my Maggotkin army. While doing my Plaguebearers, I was already thinking about my Pusgoyle Blightlords an (accidently) came across the perfect color for their rotflies. Their body will get the light pink color of the Plaguebearers tongue shown in the picture. It got a nice light-pink, fleshy tone to it and will make the flies look very gross (the fact that it ironically is called "Fairy Skin" is also a plus).

Here comes my request for advise. What color would you do the chitin and wings in? I was thinking about Black Templar black (nice blueish black) but also a brownish or pink/purple might work. The riders will get a Death Guard green based color, just like the rotsword in the second picture.

Any experience? Any opinion? Any suggestion?

Still have a ways to go finishing up the bases and touching up and some parts I’m not completely happy with, but I think they’re going pretty good.

Shout out to CHKminis for the tutorial I followed. Even though mine turned out a little different then his, I couldn’t have even done half as good of a job without it. He’s truly a master at painting.

My sister surprised me with this spearhead for my birthday yesterday. She knows that I play Death Guard and I'm a Nurgle fan.
