Usually, when people think of the painted jacket, they picture a Levi’s Type 3 with the V-shaped seams like in photo #2.

However, why do the seam lines on jacket #1 drop down straight/parallel instead of forming a V shape? Is this one not based on a Levi’s Type 3 jacket?

I’d really appreciate an answer from anyone who’s knowledgeable about this!

I appreciate the positive comments from my first post, so I’m back with another. Did a few more customs since my last post. Im out of 750 soles now, so I should be slowing down a little. Still have a pair of Black ace highs incoming and probably 2 or 3 random pairs depending on price. This was my first time custom fitting a pair that were a size 40 into a size 41 with the Blue Wrestler Gats and Future lows. At 200 each I couldn’t pass on the price and figured why not try. Wasn’t sure about the gum 750 soles with the white future low’s but I’m starting to like them. The Blue long strap gats would have gotten a Dyed Navy 750 sole but the white works well in my opinion. The burgundy pair surprised me the most, I think they look way better with the sole and lace swap. Was going to do something different with the Red Circuit’s but the 750 soles look great. Also threw in a shot of my different Types of GATs and my Marant customs, Wine and Cognac.

Can you tell I’m not the fondest of lows lol.

I bought the MM6 anatomic ankle boots and after trying them on at home once, the brown colour started completely cracking off. I know Margiela has a bit rustic and worn in vibe but idk i dont want my gradient brown shoes turning black after a few wears… Any ideas what is going on or if something can be done? Thanks!!

Hey guys i just cop my salomon x MM6 recently (2 months ago) with a pretty new cond but after wore them for a few times its numbers starting to peel off. I had try iron them with the steamed iron but seems like it not working. Should I use the normal iron or is there any way to make it stitch in again TvT?
