r/Majorette

Been looking for the non pick-up version of the VW T1 van for a while now and lo and behold what i saw in a toy store i happened to just pass by on my way to an appointment.

The others that come to my mind are the 2024 motor show, 2025 nightburnerz, latest ferrari 5 pack. But this all black and all great cars takes the cake

I came across this, thought it looked cool - not so much the RX7, but the Transporter. The RX7 is alright, has opening doors, it's bigger than the MBX and HW version. The Transporter bed is a bit flimsy, but it scales alright amoungst Team Transport, the bed being a bit longer and wider. With a few more details and mods on the Transporter I think it will look good 👍

I do now.....

Been hunting majorettes for 3 years and they have some really great castings and a reasonable price for those details. Though majorette is one of the smallest collections I currently have in my room I decided to complete this series cause out of the cars from this series from the past it wasn't that much if my type but when I saw these I loved it. I started with the civic cause I like the ek9, then I saw the skyline cause the purple finish just looks so good, then the supra cause supra, then the silvia cause I like the gold color and black hood, then found the chase, fairlady Z, and the s2000 just today and Im really happy how I was able to complete this series through the year. Any thoughts or any other series you have completed and the reason why?

Went to one of my local toy stores which had recently moved to a bigger building to see if they now sold majorettes (they did not before) and to my joy they stocked (almost) as many Majorette cars as Hot Wheels. And imagine my surprise when behind a whole lot of copies of the same modern hyundai and jeep i found a Porsche 918 Spyder chase car from 2024!

I had kinda accepted i would probably never find a chase since compared to die-hard collectors and resellers/scalpers i have way less time to spend roaming toy stores looking for specifically chase vehicles. Also i normally do not collect cars produced after 1999 (with certain exceptions for cars i really like) but knowing how hard it can be to find chases i will certainly not pass one up cause it is modern.

This lucky find has given me some more hope and renewed will to look out for more chase cars in the future.
