Hi! I am not sure how to make it more interesting so I will just give a little more information about myself. I am looking to make some online friends here, maybe even in person if you’re local since I have none in real life. My life consists of working an 8-5 office job on Weekdays and taking care of my kids on the weekends. I am currently not looking for NSFW people. Very pervy people with Asian kink, no thank you. I am emotionally sensitive and a lot of people say I’m too nice/kind. Which can make me a push over sometimes. However, I can handle good humor and banter as long as you aren’t going below the belt. There’s a difference between sarcastic banter and being a douche.

I’m bored and have had a lot of downtime since I got radiation treatment a month-ish ago. Missing funny/silly, no pressure conversations. Tell me about a random, niche interest you have or the last YouTube rabbit hole you went down. I can go first if you’re shy. I recently watched a couple video essays on why the game Horses was banned from Steam. That was actually incredibly interesting, albeit odd. But I like odd. I’ve picked up on more reading and I prefer nonfiction for physical books. It turns out I’ve been enjoying history and philosophy more lately. I’m currently reading a book called Atomic Human and it’s helping me be a little more hopeful about ai. After this book, I’m going to pick up The Art of War - I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy it.

When I’m cleaning or doing laundry for the millionth time, I like to pop on an audiobook and listen to sci-fi or fantasy. I enjoy cooking and have been on a calorie deficit - do you have any tips or tricks to manage munchies? I ate half a jar of pickles and that kinda helped?

If I’m not working on job applications, I’ve been working on a little personal project and plan to develop an app for funsies - currently in the research phase which I thoroughly enjoy. I’ve been accepted into grad school for human-computer interaction and ideally, I’ll start this fall.
