Hello, deck cadet (22) will be joining around mid-October. Any advice na mabibigay niyo po? Not the safety first or lagi magaral or makinig (obvs ill be doing that), something more na mapapabilib ang mga kasamahan like:

-what to do pagkaboard mo, do I immediately report kay c/o or;
-do i look into the ships particulars kaagad.
-cultures onboard

Also what does each officer should be expecting sakin as deck cadet

Any tips na mapakita ko im willing to learn and help

I have 12 months experience as Oiler/Motorman onboard tanker ship. I have STCW III/1 license and advanced trainings for oil and chemical tanker. I have recommendations from my senior engineers for promotion to 4E.

Current company is not able to give me a spot for promotion due to no available slots.

Any manning agencies who will possibly give this ticket?

Hello peeps, im fresh graduate of Bachelor of Sciene in Cruise Ship Mamagement. Okay naman na graduate ako but not in this course,i was Pre-Baccalaureate Maritime in senior high pero i was fucking bullied back then i doubted myself cant stand up for myself and thats why im changing my course into cruise pagkagraduate ko sa SHS kasi i dont want to be around some shitty ass persons again when im college. Now i realized cruise jobs aint for me and kuddos to all hard workers sa cruise ship tho. And now i want to be a merchant officer than working sa cruise but its too late, im 24 i was graduated when i was 23 and kung gusto ko maging officer kelangan ko talaga mag aral ulit sa maritime for that. May job 1 year experience ako sa bora as Public Area Attendant sa isang hotel. Pero di talaga nag cliclick sakin idk maybe im overthinking. Idk what my endgame here im thinking messman to os to ab nalang?

2017 pa last na sakay ko sa barko. 2017 nag ka roon kasi opportunity mag ka work land base kaya kinuha ko na. Ngayon pinag iisipan ko bumalik and mag update ng trainings, meron pa kaya chance.

Hi, tanong ko lang po.. paano po ba kung maghihintay ka ng line up? Tatawagan ka po ba ng agency o ikaw po mag rereport tapos tatanungin kelan line up? 5 months na po kasi simula noong umuwi siya, tapos ngayon gusto ko sana malaman kung kailangan ba na mag report o tatawag yung agency na for line up na?

Today, I witnessed a family sending off their Papa dahil sasakay na siya ng barko. Naiyak ako kasi they were all crying. Kahit pala ilang beses na silang nag-send off, umiiyak pa rin pala every time.
