Effective, but i’m not sure if it’s safe
I had my #16 and #47 teeth extracted last August 5. Tapos after an hour pag alis ko ng gauze, sabi ng tita ko maglagay lang daw ako ng ice sa bibig ko palagi. Sinunod ko naman, halos 4 hours lang akong may yelo sa bibig ko. And it helped so much that I barely felt any pain during recovery, mga 2/10 na sakit lang, hindi na rin ako nag take ng Mefenamic.
My question is, is this actually safe to do after an extraction? Could holding ice inside the mouth affect the blood clot or healing, even if the ice isn't touching the extraction site?
