1. how many luggage allowed when getting on the ship? is there a weight limit too?

2. did you bring canned goods (for extra food), hygiene stuff, etc.?

May appointment kasi ako sa MARINA Central Office para sa SID & SRB ko as a first timer. Ang appointment time ko is 1pm-2pm pa naman. Need ba talaga na as in super super early like 6am or 7am?? Na dapat pumila nako ng ganyang oras kahit 1pm-2pm pako??? Kasi based sa mga nakikita ko at sa Google reviews sa MARINA Central Office, yung iba ganyan ang ginawa nila. Pumunta sila ng napaka aga kahit afternoon pa ang appoinment.

Hello po. Galing po akong probinsya at nasa Manila ngayon para sa training at pag-apply sa shipping companies.

Medyo kapos po ang budget ko, kaya naghahanap ako ng affordable, malinis, at maayos na bedspace/boarding house.

Hindi po ako naghahanap ng maganda o mamahalin, basta malinis at comfortable lang po sana.

Hi everyone! I graduated this August with a BS in Tourism Management, and honestly, I’m still unsure where to start with my career.

Here’s my work experience so far:
8 months - McDonald’s (Service Crew)
4 months - Alorica (CSR, Financial Account)
4 months - Starbucks (Barista)

I’m interested in working on a cruise ship eventually, but tbh, I’m not really sure yet what position I want. My main goal is to find a position with good pay and hopefully build relevant experience first.

For now, I’m planning to work here in the Philippines for a while before applying for cruise ship jobs.

My questions are:

1. Based on my experience, what cruise ship positions would I realistically qualify for?
2. What jobs can you recommend for me locally that can offer around ₱25-30k?
3. Is it better to gain experience in hotels first, or would my BPO/customer service experience also be useful?

Would really appreciate advice from people who are already working in the cruise industry or have gone through the application process. Thank you! 🙏

May naka experience na ba sa inyo nag loan na on board sa bank or any reco na ma loanan, for 3 yrs sana as a seafarer, kaso, on board na kaya online application lng pwde?

I'm currently grade 10 and I'm thinking of switching schools by senior highschool. I plan to switch to a school that would give me a better chance of getting into MAAP.
